It's basically a scenario on a Glyph. Also the movement boost isn't even ideal since most Peter Parker figures want to swing around.

The concept does seem better suited for a Story Card.

TACKLE BREAK SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 1. Attack 3 + Special.
Instead of moving and attacking normally, move King Caesar up to 6 spaces in a straight line and then attack with this special attack. Roll 1 additional attack die for each space King Caesar moved this turn. After using this special attack, King Caesar may move up to 2 spaces and then use it up to one additional time against the same figure. King Caesar will not take leaving engagement attacks when moved with this special attack.

MONSTER MARTIAL ARTIST
If King Caesar received no wounds when defending against a normal attack from an adjacent huge figure, place the attacking figure on a different space adjacent to King Caeser. Been thinking about a new Psylocke design. She's one of my favourite comic characters and have been wanting a version II for a while. Not sure if this should be Betsy or Kwannon though.

BUTTERFLY EFFECT

TELEKINETIC ARSENAL
Before taking a turn with Psylocke, you may choose one of the following effects:
•Attack one additional time this turn.
•Subtract 1 from Psylocke’s Attack number and add 5 to her Range number this turn.
•Add one automatic skull to whatever is rolled when attacking an adjacent figure, and the defending figure cannot receive any automatic shields or roll more defense dice than the Defense number listed on their card.

NINJITSU
Psylocke can attack with her normal attack at any point before, during, or after her normal move as long as she is on a space where she could end her movement. Psylocke can move through all figures and is never attacked when leaving an engagement.

Cool Psylocke write up. Good reuse of Ninjitsu. That's one I'm surprised we haven't used more.

I'm familiar with the phrase Butterfly Effect. What does it represent thematically in this case?

Butterfly Effect as is could be pretty powerful in a pod with figures like Professor X, Beast, Jean Grey, and Iceman. Something to watch, as the shut down potential is high there. I suppose being able to get around it by revealing an Order Marker on that figure's card is a good counter, though.

Thank you!

Butterfly Effect was purely a reference to the butterfly that appears when she uses telepathy. Couldn't find an official name for it, and I did have another name for the power but didn't like it too much (Psionic Lock). Bit too similar to her name to me.

The power itself was originally once per player turn if that's a better starting point? Hadn't thought about that potential combo, but it sounds nasty.

Yeah, that might help. I'm imagining her playing against the Fan Four and trying to lock up as many of them as possible in adjacency while Jean keeps figures next to her/throws figures next to her and Prof X stops an attack that gets through once per round.

Really great design!

I will say that while I know wikis and such mention times that Psylocke has created long-range weapons with her Psychic Constructs, my experience is that she's much more melee on average. So having her be able to snipe up to 9 spaces away does feel a bit odd to me. (I'm also not a huge X-Men nerd, so I may be off base here.)

If we wanted to tone Butterfly Effect down (awesome power btw) we could always limit it to only adjacent figures?

Thank you! Not sure how often she makes a bow or crossbow but she seems to have done it a few times. Can be dropped if it feels unnecessary. I know there is a couple of heroclix where she has a bow though so I figured it was probably used enough if they've done minis featuring it.

Requiring adjacency could tone it down a lot, but I think I'd remove the once per turn clause then since you could work around it easily enough.
