SECRET IDENTITY = LEONARD SNART SPECIES = METAHUMAN UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = ROGUE PERSONALITY = AMBITIOUS SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 5 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 5 ATTACK = 4 DEFENSE = 4 POINTS = 200 THE ROGUES After revealing an Order Marker on this card or the card of a Rogue you control within 5 clear sight spaces of Captain Cold and taking a turn with that figure, you may choose Captain Cold or another Rogue you control within 5 clear sight spaces of Captain Cold that has not taken a turn this player turn. Take a turn with the chosen figure. You may not take any additional turns with other figures you control. ROGUE CONTINGENCY PLAN When a Rogue you control is destroyed, you may immediately remove any unrevealed Order Markers from that card and place them on any other Rogue card you control. FLASH FREEZE Once per round, when a figure enters a space within 5 clear sight spaces of Captain Cold where it could end its movement, you may stop that figure's movement. That figure may not move or be moved by any special power on any Army Card or glyph for the rest of this player turn. I skipped the last chance thread, but I feel like everyone saw this in the Rogues thread anyway. Rogue Command & Rogue Contingency Plan are the big synergy hooks here, shoring up two of the Rogues' weaknesses. My goal for this design is to make Captain Cold a competitive Rogue leader, since the Rogues (while solid as heroes on their own) struggle as an army as-is.

Looking forward to seeing how it all tests out. It looks like a nice boost to the faction on paper. Melee unit moves towards the Rogues, gets flash frozen before they can engage, then two Rogues gets to attack that figure first before it can go again. Once that figure does engage, if it drops a Rogue with OM's on their card, those OM's are not lost.

I prefer Clever in a vacuum, but there's probably an argument for just going Tricky, yeah.

Clever would be a new personality, so I agree with using something different. Tricky works, though I was also thinking of Calculating or Cunning. Or Cold.

For reference: "X Command" is already a power (see Creature Command on Frankenstein. I'd do something like "Order Rogue" or "Rogue Direction" or something like that.
I might remove the 6 spaces requirement for Contingency Plan, since I think it's a little more thematic that way... I don't know, I like the idea of him calling in someone "from the wings" when his squad goes down. Like letting you send in a second wave. If we're trying to pump up the Rogues I doubt it'd be a major balance issue? No preference on personality, or really on the overall direction - you guys know the faction better than I do. Looks good! I almost wish you or someone else would finish of Magenta first, as I think the Rogues will continue to stink even with extra activations until they get more defensive staying power.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
