Re: Frostgrave, Halo Ground Command and other tabletop minis
That's awesome that your daughter showed interest. Enjoy it while you can, as she may not want to hang out with dad after getting to a certain age. My twin daughters used to game with me all the time and want to watch shows together that my wife didn't want to watch. They stopped the gaming interest a few years ago (they are now 17) and haven't wanted to watch shows for several months now. But jobs, friends, boyfriends and having adrivers license hasn't helped our hang out time. Plus they are girls and get weird in their teenage years.
Sounds cool for the prison. That should be fun to play. Hand of fate is moving and the finger points to you ...Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man TUTORIAL FOR RE-BASING FIGURES 3hrs 43mins 32secs = 1242nd of 8808 overall - 1988 Honolulu Marathon |

Got my Rebel Specialists done for Star Wars Legion. It was fun painting some alien species.

Re: Frostgrave, Halo Ground Command and other tabletop minis
Repulsor pallets and crates for Star Wars Legion. But I can use them for other games of course.
I didn't glue the pallets to the base because I want to them used as scatter terrain for other games. There is a cross on the bottom of the pallets that allow it to sit off the ground a little when not on the base. I used greenstuff to mold the cross into so it will sit on the base nicely when used for Legion. Re: Frostgrave, Halo Ground Command and other tabletop minis
Those are pretty cool
@Hahma
. Love your rebs as well. I havent bought any of the little terrain expansions for legion. With my room of terrain and 3d printing possibilities its hard for me to justify picking them up. I havent printed anything for awhile either because I just cant justify adding anything to the pile of shame to paint either right now. Ill be spending a little more money on the pledge manager for massive darkness 2 when it comes out but that will be a month or so away and will only do that because kickstarter type orders are time sensitive. I was going to finish painting all my modern zombicide before starting a campaign but my little nephew seen the few hundred models for zcide Id already painted and wanted to play pretty bad. Hes the exact same age as my daughter, they were born on the same day. I was able to teach him zcide pretty easily and we played a few games. We were slaughtered twice losing all of our survivors in both games and couldnt beat the first scenario in the first book. I decided to go ahead and put it all back away and restart the campaign when I finish painting all the sets. My daughter and nephew got hold of some dice towers and dice bowls I had built but not finished and asked to decorate them so they crafted them while I painted some more models. They always like to craft things and paint stuff together and then I let them keep whatever models or other things they paint. Even though I dont have mandalorians or commando droids and a few other new units for legion Im holding off because of the sheer quantity of stuff I already have ready and painted for the game. Im going to try to knock out another 43 models today to finish up another modern zcide box. Should be interesting.

Re: Frostgrave, Halo Ground Command and other tabletop minis
@Hahma
, I had a fun conversation with my one brother that plays tabletop games with me still, and most regularly. He picked up a resin printer to go with his other two fdm printers and got back into doing some more 3d modeling between working on projects on his house. I was talking to him about legion scape and games in general and we came up with a fun idea of digitally kitbashing figures of ourselves in 3d programs. The idea is that we make the model of ourselves, then make cards for our characters for zombicide, scape, and also use the models as placeholders in our Legion games. Along with walking dead for sure. With all the files out there, should be a super fun thing to do. If made about 28mm heroic like Heroscape classic figures, it should be able to fit in with a variety of games including legion and walking dead. I know you already have a set of survivors of your family so I know you like the idea. The customization in digital kitbashing and sculpting is pretty limitless. I finished up the said 43 models and am done with 18 of the 34 models in the next box. Once finished with the remainder of this set, only one more large box left for modern zombicide. Can't wait to start getting some paint on some big monster characters.

Re: Frostgrave, Halo Ground Command and other tabletop minis
Sounds like a fun idea
@TREX
. I liked making characters for my family for The Walking Dead. So it should be neat for you to have your character in several games.

Re: Frostgrave, Halo Ground Command and other tabletop minis
Its going to be pretty fun. I've been getting a lot of stuff done around my place lately, fixing things, and making things better. Pretty soon I'll be upgrading my shop. I've been using one of my spare bedrooms for my shop. My garage isn't quite closed off. Its more of a carport that just needs roll up doors on the front so I don't put my tools in there in case someone wants to steal them. Once it can be closed off and locked, I'll be moving the majority of my shop out there except for my resin and fdm printing station. I have a place set up in my mancave just for painting, and solo/coop gaming now and set up an additional table in the living room for when I run Legion or other PVP games. I just ran power out to the garage, wiring in all the lights and outlets out there and it has me super excited to be able to have all my saws and such within reach but not inside my house. I had time to take another shot at my resin printer to try to figure out why it has been a pain half the time. I think I may have it figured out now. I think the print layer height was too thick making it harder for the machine to pull it free from the vat. The instruction booklet that came with it recommended those settings. I went to the slightly smaller layer height and I've had a few perfect print sets in a row. I'm going to keep running it to see how long it will take to screw up. The solution makes sense though. today I printed 4, 3 man squad of Mandalorians for legion along with 4 extra Imperial R4 Astromech droids just to test it. I'm printing one of the Mando Wren Heroes now with 7 of the Tactical Commander droids for the CIS and a model of Darth Maul. Should be done in an hour or so. If it keeps plugging along, I'll probably just print you a bed of different mando poses so you can get creative with the paint jobs. I've still got your baby Yoda, and a finished rancor waiting to send out to you. I think I'll pause on printing 50 billion scape bases to knock out you a second Dewback bottom and get them sent to you. If I did figure out my issue, my only problem will be keeping my machine fed with resin.

Re: Frostgrave, Halo Ground Command and other tabletop minis
I'm tired of my linked pictures from Facebook disappearing, so I'm trying Imgur. Though I haven't figured out how to actually get the pictures to show up here, at least there is a link to the pictures on Imgur.
I'll do more when I can.
