Cards came in today. The turn around time was about a month (I expected as much since they are completely custom and from another country) but the quality is better than anything we are gonna get at a kinko's or officemax. I absolutely love these things. Really hoping the creator comes back to finish them off.

Hi, all. Don't despair, I'm definitely gonna finish up the set, but other things have taken over lately. Fortunately taxes are done, but we're trying to get the old house ready to sell and doing major work on the "new" one. I've got D2 and D3 but I haven't even opened them. They're in a box in the attic with dozens of other sets! I appreciate all the feedback on the cards!

grithog, I do hope you'll be inclined to include the officially unofficial customs projests when you get back to your card designs. There are two: the C3V (unified-design, backwards-compatible custom waves), and the SoV [Soldiers of Valhalla--existing customs tweaked to fit with the C3V]. Currently, C3V custom Wave 14 has twelve army cards, and the SoV has finalized their first card, the Zombie Hulk.

That $2.99 price is sweet. I'm tempted to go ahead and order the half filled deck I created. It's just been waiting for the remainder of the waves to be completed so I can fill it up and order it.

Edit: Oh, and a little feedback. When I got out my cards the other day, I realized that the brownish border for the Einar cards is a little difficult to distinguish from the Utgar red. The Einar purple would make a more distinguishable border.

I got out my D2 and D3 sets the other night to start working on these and remembered how difficult it always is to adapt the images of the figures from card scans to fit my own layout window. And their images are pretty unsatisfactory anyway. So, instead, can anyone help me out with a source of good quality, high resolution images of the figures for these cards? Either a link to existing photos or some new photos taken for this project.
I've tried photographing some myself, but I haven't been happy with the results, especially since I want a good backdrop. I could probably do it with the right setup and technique but I'm no photographer.
I know this has been slow, but I do want to roll this out before too long.

What sort of backdrop would you need? My attempts at photographing figures haven't been the greatest to date...but I could try.
