Heroscape Poetry?

I wrote this in a weird moment and am suprisingly proud of it. It could suck, but I'm posting it. I doubt anyone else has done this before. But here goes...

Standing
Gun in my hand
Stranded
On the last piece of land
Could I
Possibly live?
I don't
Know if it's worth it.

Gods in the sky
Throwing the dice
Gods in the sky
Can't throw them twice

Enough
Down to my last health
No more
I'm not the best
Used to
Be part of a team
My squad
Is gone now it seems

Gods in the sky
Can't give me more attack.
Gods in the sky
Can't help me fight back.

Deep breath
They toss the dice
Deep breath
My sword takes a slice
I couldn't
Live through this hell
But the six sided cube
Has served me well.

Gods in the sky
I know they're real.
Gods in the sky
The faces fade my skin peels

Last breath
I didn't win
I lost
Small and dim

The world fades.

And I see.

The dice fall from the sky.

If I've got my jargon right, it's iambic pentameter with a Shakespearean rhyme scheme. Wait for the stamp of approval from 1Mmirg before telling your friends though. You don't want to look silly if I've just made it all up.

This is an impressive poem by TGRF.

Children are on the fields, laughing, rolling, having fun.
Fish swim through the streams, splashing, slithering, in the sun.
Birds fly through the sky, singing, soaring, in the air.
Creatures run through the grass, galloping, trotting, to their lair.

But fires on the horizon do blaze.
War approaches with deadly gaze.
Smoking, choking, trees do fall;
Crushing, slicing, and killing all.

Armies are on the fields, yelling, clashing, slaying foes.
Bodies swim through the streams, lifeless, deadly, rotting clothes.
Arrows fly through the sky, stinging, arcing, in the air.
Warriors run through the grass, hunting, searching, glassy stare.
