What size army do you use?

I'm new to Heroscape and am wondering what size army most people use in battle. I have found that 350 is a good point level and anything over 500 seems to be too much. I'm looking forward to hear what everyone else has to say about this.

I tend to play an army that is the same size as my opponent's.

I tend to play 2000 point armies. I rarely go under 1000 points.

But I can adapt if I need to make a small army.

Usually use 450 Points each but sometimes I'll let my parents use a slightly more amount than me since I'm more experienced then them. I'm about to play a 600 point game in a minute I'll let you know how 600 points goes.

with larger point armies do you change the number of order markers? or do you play strickly by the book?

I keep the same amount of order markers, I really don't think having more order markers would speed the game up much. I play by the book no matter what.

For regular game we tend to play 300-400 point games.

If we decide to use Flagbearers or High point figures (180+) it goes up to about 500-550

My mind is the Pink Zippo that sits on top of a pack of Camel Wides.

Sizes between 400 - 600 range. Typiclally roll dice to determine random army size within this range

Yeah, I stick with 500 point armies. It allows enough theme in the game without bogging it down with excessive unused units......

we used to decide before every game how many points we'd use. but after the HS night we had the other day we decided 400 points are the perfect army size. especially for one v one games.

The size of the army depends on the size of the battlefield 99% of the time.
