I really like the idea of an additional caveat that makes a good glyph play better on him, the person it should be played with. In hindsight, it's something I wish we'd come up with sooner. Definitely Olympian Defense and Covetous Ruler.

Okay then. Updated the first power (and changed the name) along with the Glyph, got rid of Magical Defense for Olympian Fortitude, and made him a Covetous Ruler (which I was leaning toward myself).

Any other thoughts, or should we send it out to the Comp guys?

While I like what's in the SP, we could also do it like this:

HADES' HELM
Start the game with the Glyph of Helm of Invisibility on this card. While the Glyph of Helm of Invisibility is on this card, it cannot be destroyed by any means.


GLYPH OF HELM OF INVISIBILITY
(Phantom Walk)

EQUIPMENT GLYPH
After a numbered Order Marker is revealed on any card, you may destroy this glyph. If you do, for the remainder of that player's turn, this figure can move through all figures, is never attacked when leaving an engagement, and cannot be targeted by opponents' non-adjacent figures for any attacks or special powers that require clear sight.

I'd be fine with either one.

We're not worried about the glyph being destroyed, we're concerned with the glyph being OP with other designs. By nerfing it with other figures they aren't as keen to play it as the intended user, Pluto, who gets an added benefit.

Would it really work that way though? You need to destroy the glyph to activate it, but the power prevents the glyph from being destroyed. I like the idea though.

yeah, unfortunately I think literal reading of that text would prevent Pluto from actually using the glyph.

Heh, yeah, you guys are right. That's an easy fix though:

I just had an idea. what if we worked the helm like this?

(Intangibility)

EQUIPMENT GLYPH
A figure equipped with this glyph can move through all figures, is never attacked when leaving an engagement, and cannot be targeted by opponents' non-adjacent figures for any attacks or special powers that require clear sight for the remainder of its turn unless it has the Hades' Helm special power.

This way it still works against certain special powers, but they don't know how to use it properly unless the use of it is inherent to them. I know the wording isn't perfect, but it gets the point across.
