Anything you want tested here? I'm struggling to think of an obvious pairing, but it's late. The Fan4 seemed to work well with the Sports Car, so I may try that here.

I could see the FF working. I thought about trying them for the initial, but decided to go for smaller games. I think the main thing that was successful with it in my games was just being able to rapidly deploy a slow moving ground pounder, and then being able to use the Spider-Mobile as a screen afterwards.

Reed & Sue enter the Spider-Mobile while Thing walks up. Thor flies up. Thing moves up and Reed drives the car to height. Thor puts 3 wounds on the Spider-Mobile with his normal attack. Johnny engages Thor while Thing puts 2 wounds on Thor, then Reed drives the car away from Thor and is blocked. Thor uses God of Thunder Strike to hit all the Fan4 plus the car, and puts 3 wounds on Thing.

Reed wounds Thor. Thor disengages Thing & Johnny - taking 2 wounds - to destroy the Spider-Mobile. Thing wounds Thor. Thor puts 4 wounds on Reed. Thing kills Thor, then the Fan4 regroups. Lost OM3.

Vision fails. Reed wounds Vision. Vision kills Reed. Thing wounds Vision. Vision fails. Johnny fails. As the rest of the test isn’t relevant to Spider-Mobile, I’m just gonna summarize from now on.

Vision kills Thing, Johnny kills Vision, Hulk kills Sue, Johnny kills Hulk (barely).


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Human Torch (3 wounds) wins.

Reed gets in the Spider-Mobile. Flash and Atom move up. Reed rolls a 1 so stays put. Flash puts 2 wounds on Sue. Sue gets in the car and Reed drives to height. Hawkgirl moves up.

Hawkgirl puts 2 wounds on the Spider-Mobile. Johnny engages Flash & Atom, Thing moves up, Reed drives onto height and is blocked. The Spider-Mobile stops Hawkgirl from moving, so she attacks the Spider-Mobile from low ground and inflicts one wound. Johnny takes 2 wounds from Flaming Flash & Atom, but gets them both. Thing puts 4 wounds on Hawkgirl, then Reed is blocked. Flash uses the Speed Force to destroy the Spider-Mobile plus wound Reed and Sue. Johnny engages Flash & Hawkgirl and destroys Hawkgirl, Thing is blocked (Flash can’t run away due to rubber wrap), and Reed is blocked.

Again I’ll just summarize from now on. Hawkman kills Sue, Wonder Woman kills Reed, Johnny kills Hawkman, Wonder Woman kills Johnny, Thing kills Wonder Woman.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Spider-Mobile is a fun vehicle. The webbing isn’t reliable but handy when it does happen. Expert Climbing makes it a little faster than the Sports Car on anything but even ground.

I felt like 85 points was fitting here - I’d be happy with anywhere from 80-90 really. Both games were really close.

Kinda strange to me that this doesn't have any synergy with all with Spider-Man to the point where it hasn't been tested with him at all. That kinda strikes me as a flavor fail.
