Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

Just completed excellent trade with Jdet.

Still have available new unopened D1 wave sets: Glaun Bog Raiders, Warriors of the Ghostlight Fen and Heroes of Faerun.

I am also trading my spare (used) set of original Master Set figures.

I have waves 1, 7, 8 and D1 interested in anything else.

Regards,

Marc

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

Evening all, a little off topic from Heroscape, but if there are any Terry Pratchett fans out there, please take a look at the website I am working on...

www.terrypratchett.weebly.com

It is a work in progress, with launch aimed towards the end of May. It will contain stories that Terry wrote for the Bucks Free Press newspaper in the 1960s - they haven't been republished since, so this is all quite exciting!!!

That is all, let 'scaping resume!

Awesome! I love Pratchett! Did you know that Sky1 is showing Going Postal later this month?

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

What's the copyright situation on that old material?

Q - "Are you one of those people who does The Times crossword puzzle in 10 minutes?"

A - "I have NEVER taken 10 minutes!"

The copyright is owned solely by the Bucks Free Press, and they have given their full permission for the project. It is a collaboration between the Friends of High Wycombe Libraries and the Bucks Free Press, with me running the show (at the moment) on behalf of the Friends. Are you a Pratchettophile?

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

I'm not - I read the books (and have done since The Light Fantastic came out), I mostly enjoy them (but I'm in the minority when I say that I enjoyed the old stuff that parodied fantasy itself more than most of the newer books), but a friend of mine *is * a rabid fan. He attends a lot of the Pratchett sons, and IIRC his specialist subject when he appeared on Mastermind last year was the Discworld novels. But even he draws the line at leaving out a pork pie on Hogswatch Eve.

A - "I have NEVER taken 10 minutes!"

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

Will I manage to play a game with wave D1 figures before D2 arrives?

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

That's about the size of it right now. That and the fact that I'm busy with other games, or woodwork (which is my current "hobby of the moment").

A - "I have NEVER taken 10 minutes!"
