What part of the power would the d20 roll effect? Move is automatic, d20 to see if you get a free turn with the switched figure?

Either the move or the turn. So it could require the d20 to even use, or just to get the turn after the move. The d20 required for the turn would probably be best.

I'll take a stab at it.

TRAP DOOR TELEPORTATION
Instead of taking a turn with Zatanna, if Zatanna is unengaged, you may choose a figure you control within clear sight of Zatanna. Immediately switch places between Zatanna and the chosen figure. You may then roll the twenty sided die, on a roll of 9 or higher you may then take an immediate turn with the chosen figure.

Cool write ups. I like the second power on Doctor Fate's card.

Honestly, I'd probably just drop the first power on Doctor Fate's card. It feels forced and not at all worthwhile (obviously there are no effects to the marker, but it'd take a lot of space to fit them in and I just don't think it's worth the effort to tie him to 3 thematic figures and 8 unthematic ones).

And there's little point in making him a Magician if you don't get in a D20 effect. I'd skip making him a Justice League leader and focus on making him work well with the leaders we're establishing. No markers needed - just powers that fit in well and the Magician class.

Yes. Love the Trap Door mechanic, but she needs a D20 power to be a good fit for this Justice League initiative.

Honestly, that feels a bit weak to me. Giving up my whole turn just to switch figures and then have a chance to take a turn? I'd rather something like this:

If it is a free open bonding turn I think the d20 number would need to go up to keep it balanced, then the Batman Marker burn would be more meaningful too if he were adding 3 to a harder to hit roll.

Yeah, I was thinking the roll should go up too, but I think I like it better that way and with the higher roll.

A little off track, but it was mentioned - will the magic system have an effect on old cards? I'd imagine so, or there'd just end up being this weird divide.

Not sure how much I'm allowed to tease in the public but suffice it to say that many different aspects have been discussed and that has been one of them. Whether or not it all works out will have to remain a mystery as we are not far enough along to say anything is set in stone right now.
