Heroscape War 2, Summer edition

War of the Worlds 2, Summer edition-Canceled-Reason, not enough people, and other stuff came up

When: August 25th

Where: Sunny Slope Church of Christ, Omaha, NE 68134, 108th and Maple

What Time: 10pm start, 3pm finish. Will have lunch break after 2nd round.

What to bring: Figures, cards, dice, wound and order markers, prize for prize table

Entry fee: $1

Format: This will be pretty basic, only thing, all flying figures that move 6 and up, their move is knocked down to 5. That is pretty much it. All other figures move normal, it is only the move of 6 and up is now 5.

Will be going by how many games you win or lose. Who ever is 4-0 is the winner. 2 points per win, 1 per loss.

24 hex start zones
1 hr. for each game
Customs welcome, no Marvel
Don't get to extreme with customs, like killing all the non friendly figures on the board just like that. But have fun with it, I suggest will up to two customs per player. But you must have at least one real Heroscape figure in your army. I know there are Star Wars figures out there now, so I will say if you want to bring Darth Vader, that is fine. Again don't go to the extreme with the powers. If you don't want to bring a custom, that is perfectly fine too.

Ok, so September 1st is the weekend of Labor Day, I know alot of you might be hangin with family and what not. So August 25th is lookin more open, any thoughts?

I may be attending this one. I am planning on it now, but something may arise.

For the location, there are plenty of Dragons Lair Comics shops around Omaha that would let us host. I know of a few other game shops, but I am not as familiar with them.

At the moment, I don't know of anyone else. It is still pretty early in planning, so I won't know of any maps for a while. Will know as more people say they are coming.

With that being a week after Gen Con, it's going to be a hard sell to my wife to let me go scape all day on Saturday...

I was wondering when Gen Con was, as you can tell I'm really bad at keeping track with that. I need to find out if ThorfinSS is going.
