Scenario - Castle of the Dzu-Teh
Alright, the map is a fairly symmetrical affair with mild elevation change. The biggest features are a single level tower on one side of the map and a four-level tower on the other side, connected by a zig-zag bridge. Around this tower is snow and ice, but we play it as light snow so it does not inhibit movement. It's mostly aesthetic. Unlike most maps my group plays, this map does not necessarily require the annihilation of the opposing army. There are victory conditions. Certain things can be done or characters can be killed to gain victory points.
Stationed on the four-level tower are six Dzu-Teh (3 per side), as non-player controlled characters. Killing a Dzu-Teh allows the player to add +1 to any stat on their army card, with an allowance for up to +3 stat bonuses per card. After 5 rounds, a Dzu-Teh respawns on its original tile. Atop the four-level tower is the dragon Nilfheim. Killing Nilfheim nets your army 8 victory points. Also, If a unique hero kills Nilfheim, said hero clears all wounds and receives +1 all stats for the remainder of the game. In the center of the bridge is a control point. There are also control points on the opposite corners of the map from the four-level tower. The outer CPs cannot be gained until the central CP is activated. You gain a victory point for controlling a CP at the end of a round. To eliminate camping, after holding a CP for 2 rounds, the figure on the CP respawns to the starting zone. No disengage strikes during a respawn. First to 20 victory points wins. To ensure a decently fair game, your armies can respawn, to an extent. Army cards with a value under 99 points cannot respawn. Army cards valued at 100-179 points respawn after 3 rounds. Army cards valued at 180+ respawn after4 rounds. What do you think? Re: Scenario - Castle of the Dzu-Teh
Pics will be forthcoming. Probably in about a week or so. I don't have a camera and it'll probably be Thursday at the earliest before we can actually play the map.
