Have any ideas for the next tabletop simulator tournament? Here the place for them.

Some ideas that kicked around on Discord

1. Map Playtesting Tournament (or Space Maps)

2. Getting assigned a figure or 2 at a set price point to build around.

3. Draft a team for someone else.

4. No sharing of species or class or size.

Few ideas:

1. Synergy randomly given to each participant.
-We use a random generator with a list of all synergies that can compile whatever point value we decide on, such as 1000 for example. Then one by one we each get randomly given a synergy. Each time we play a game, we can compile our army from that synergy as we see fit, as long as we stay at 1000 points or under.

Slashers/Tormentors
Champions
Avengers
Undead
Mutants
Green Lanterns/Guardians
Guardians of the Galaxy Members
Titans
etc.

2. Draft 1 figure for another player at a set point value that they must use in their army.

3. You can't use the same figure more than once in the tournament.
-Maximum 20 figures per person in the draft. You cannot play the same figure more than once, forcing you to choose when to use whom. Save your best for last, or go strong up front to secure your advancement?

4. All figures from prior tournament are un-eligible.
-Do whatever tourney size, but no drafted figures from the prior tourney can be drafted, forcing everyone to think outside of the box/not rely on the big favorites.

5. If you defeat someone you take the army they used and add those figures to your roster for selection.

For number 1, it could be fun to get assigned a synergy but instead of you building it you could force your opponent to build one to play against. Like a picknyour own poison or Doom kind of thing.

2 is fun, could be interesting to make it a squad?

3. Cool idea, pool size would depend on number of participants.

4. I like that a lot. We see Cap and Thor so much in our home games that we started implementing this.

5. That's adds a neat wrinkle, especially if paired with #3.

Just saw this was here. Down for just about anything for small tournies as long as I don't have to run them. Super League and the Con is enough for me on a yearly basis.
