Personally I never understood why the long and short give different bonuses in the first place.

I'd hate to add another master set to the map components just to even out the ruins. Worst case scenario we could swap out the Warehouse ruins and replace them with large ruins and have the original two be small ruins. I think that would hurt the look of the map though.

The one thing I do like about keeping the warehouse platforms is that they have some fun interplay with the Orbital Laser.

Maybe the ruins just don’t count as DOs?

I think you should talk to the Terrain Group (know anyone with pull there?) and reevaluate the Ruins to get them both giving the same bonuses. I agree with the assessment that they shouldn't be uneven and that their being so makes it hard to have balanced maps that use them.

Placing this on hold until the Warehouse Ruin vote is in. Can't move forward until I know if the Warehouse Ruins can or can't be used in Competitive Maps. A drop from 4 life to 2 life IMO fixes that.

Wonder if there's a way to tweak this map to make it more viable in 2.0? I enjoyed the few games I played on it and I love the theme.

I think the biggest issue people had with the map is the Warehouse Ruins and the ability to gain height on it. Map probably needs another look though.

For sure. I wonder if there's just a DO that could replace the Warehouse Ruins?

Or, honestly, we could do the thing where you take the spaces you can occupy off of the ruins. I remember that solution being floated.

Yeah, if the 2nd level is a competitive concern, I'd just remove them. They aren't that difficult to take off and put back on from what I remember, I haven't done so in a while though.
