Re: The Book of Quake - Waiting for Initial
I'm more of the johnny school of thought on this one, fwiw. Not a faction I'm particularly invested in or knowledgeable about, though, so I haven't been a super active voice here.

Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ Army Test Map: X Marks the Spot Units: Quake (180), Commander Rogers, Gorgon (Inhuman), Human Robot (900) VS Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, Shang-Chi (900)
Spoiler Alert!
THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I think I might lean towards 170 for public testing. GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: The recruitment was fun and didn't lead to any combos that were too strong or problematic that I found. Karnak would be one I would consider trying with her in the future for his tactician power. Her Agent Protection was a little harder to set up and a bit more inconsistent than I imagined so if she does poorly in the next set of tests I might consisder lowering that. Right now I feel like her teams got a hair on the unlucky side in the last two games and she performed fine but she feels a hair expensive for how her powers played out. Re: The Book of Quake - Waiting for Initial
Sorry I haven't said much here. Not sure if we were going to talk about Phobos some more or not, and I don't know her well enough to comment.

Re: The Book of Quake - Waiting for Initial
Might be worth trying her in a Star-Lord/Robot build that ignores the first two powers since Agent synergies are fairly light and she has solid stats and a special attack at a low price.
Are there any other engagement deniers/movement deniers that are Agents or recruitable? Might be worth trying to double up on that type of effect as well. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Quake - Waiting for Initial
Medusa is the only real one with her Hair Entanglement. I think for the initial I am gonna focus on utilizing the recruitment but getting 1-2 games with Star-Lord and Cap might be good in public testing.

Re: The Book of Quake - Waiting for Initial
At a glance, she looks pretty darn cheap for her stats, yeah.
Don't remember what Coulson does, wasn't real checked in for that LD, but I'd test her with Brand. She can recruit figure-mover types that pair well with Quake's shtick. (Either figures that can move enemies out of engagements they manage to get into, or figures that particularly like being disengaged, or both) |

Re: The Book of Quake - Waiting for Initial
Maybe Jean Grey, then? And someone who can lay down some shadow or offer a defensive aura?

Re: The Book of Quake - Waiting for Initial
You could probably do a Mutant/Agent mashup thing with some combination of Brand, Mystique, Jean, and a sidekick.

Re: The Book of Quake - Waiting for Initial
Yeah, figures like Jean and Polaris are good figures to test with, I think. Honestly, even if you're not focused on recruiting them. Like Quake + a couple Agents + a couple figure movers + someone to manage OMs looks like a viable army to me right now.

Re: The Book of Quake - Waiting for Initial
Fwiw, I get 180 on the calculator here, and that's with 115 coming from her stats. So I'm guessing 120 is probably too low a starting place.
