Re: C3G Terrain Makers
Once I get done with He-Man and Skeletor, if I still have time to work on C3G stuff, I think I'm going to make terrain my #1 goal. I'm fine without any individual unit, but I really want to see the terrain stuff through. Probably starting with the small house, which is right there, IMO, then moving to the apartment building, then a proper skyscaper.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
Honestly, for the non-crafty person that I am, I'm starting to have a completely different thought .... what would be wrong with a cube bookshelf? You could easily find one that's open on 1 or 2 sides, depending on what you want (I even found one where you have doors, so you could play it as completely closed or as open on one side for that interior/exterior experience). At that point, they'd just need to have hexes on them and the exteriors wallpapered or painted for aesthetics.
Some examples I could envision on my table, Die Hard style: C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
$30, $45, $20, $29, and $35 down the list. Free shipping if you have Prime like me and easy assembly (a few screws - no gluing, cutting, measuring, etc.).
The biggest thing would be figuring out what would fit well on my table and then adding the hexes and customizing the looks. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
Bookshelves could definitely work, especially if you want it to be pretty much the entire battlefield.

Sure, but I'm considering a building you could store other stuff in.

Yeah I tied your method for awhile but the edges seems to not hold up well in my house which lead me to explore other options. I may just need to use your idea for the "official" version and just do some thin wood for personal use. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
I have lots of ideas to pursue if we are actually going to make it happen this time.
Store flat, opening and closing windows and doors, three sided buildings, one giant building with no exterior walls, fences, ruined buildings, under construction buildings, etc, etc, etc... |

Re: C3G Terrain Makers
For my own use I’m settling on wanting those three shelves - two 2 cube tall and one 3 cube tall. I just need to figure things out from there. Leaning heavily towards open on two ends.

open on both sides would probably be better since you could sit on opposite sides of your opponent. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

I’m much more likely to have skyscrapers than an opponent, sadly.
