Re: The Book of Piledriver
A3n meant that the defense reduction applies to both attacks (assuming you get to make two), not that the second attack is contingent on the defending figure not having Super Strength.

Re: The Book of Piledriver
No, just that the non-SS still applies for both sentences. So no matter what, non-SS figures will roll 1 less defense. Figures with SS roll normally against his attack and are still able to be attacked a 2nd time if they took damage from the 1st attack.

Re: The Book of Piledriver
I need to double check and make sure I'm doing something right. I seem to recall someone saying that DO's are not figures but rather objects, so when Piledriver att. an Evergreen Tree the tree does not roll 1 fewer def. die for not having SS and if he destroys said tree, you do not add 4 to his WC 14 roll. That also means though that when Thunderball uses his SA vs. a figure adj. to an Evergreen Tree, the tree is not effected since it isn't a figure but an object then correct? Likewise he can't choose the Evergreen Tree as the initial target for his SA either because it isn't a figure.

Re: The Book of Piledriver
DOs are figures, except for the purposes of movement rules. From the Book of C3G Rules:

Re: The Book of Piledriver
The Classic ruling is that Destructible Objects can be attacked (and I think chosen for special powers that deal wounds) as if they were figures.
But "if he destroyed a figure" wouldn't include DOs. EDIT: Looks like there's a C3G ruling the other way. |

Re: The Book of Piledriver
It's actually the same way. They are figures during the attack phase. C3G just expanded those rules.
