ok who hates Swarm of Marro too?

I've offically gone mad at what there giving you in the Swarm of Marro master set. I love marro but I believe the 2nd master set should be the same terrian pieces with new people. I found the "set includes" list and here it is

I really wish they would do a Marro Swamp terrain expansion with one of the common squads. Then put the rest in the changed master set or the next wave. Hummmm so what do you think?

I'm just not a Marro fan, so this set doesn't do anything for me. Plus the swamp didn't turn out like I envisioned. It just looks ugly. But once I see one up close instead of through digital camera shots I might change my mind.

I like the marro but I do think the amount of them that are comming in this set is a bit much. I love all the swamp terrain plus I can always use more of the other terrain and water that is comming. I don't like the idea of remaking Drake and raelin and if the Glyphs are all the same I will be very unhappy so I guess you could say I'm still undesided and will wait to get it before I give my yes or no.

Are there eight new glyphs or are these some of the old ones re-released?

Hmm, I dunno, a new general map tile will be nice, can make some more logical transitions for those mega maps.

It would have been nice to have had some extra figures with this set but i'm sure that the reason there are more than one set of common marro/wilsinu is probably because of the Hive's abilities.
I'm not going to moan about this set because i'm looking forward to it.

Well, lets compare your suggestion based on the Tundra, whic:

Your suggesiton

1 common Marro squad
36 hexes of Swamp
37 hexes of Swamp Water
1 large object
Likely cost: $20

What's in the Masterset (purely based on Swamp expansion)
6 common Marro Squads
130 hexes of Swamp
34 hexes of Swamp Water
1 large object
Likely cost: $40

Now, that's not completely fair. The Tundra set also contains 5 more large objects, but to compare the other two, the Lava set had 54 hexes of terrain total but costs less and the forest has 29 hexes but includes 2 small walls and 5 trees. Still, I don't think you're going to get TOO much more than that. Certainly not more than 80 hexes total.

So really, the 2nd Master set is a fantastic deal. For the cost of 2 terrain sets, you're getting:

At least 2 sets worth of the new swamp terrain.
2 sets of the common squad
1 large object (which apparently is unique anyway)

In addition to this which covers the base value, you're also getting:
6 Unique Hero figures
2 more common squads
68 hexes of "classic" terrain
and all the basic stuff to play the game (order markers, rules, glyphs, round markers, dice, etc)

I actually think this is a FAR better deal than a terrain expansion myself.

I personally love the Marro, and the new Ralin looks ALOT better than the old one IMO. I will only be picking up one of this master set myself. Maybe 2, because the new Soulborg looks pretty nifty to mod. But thats a long shot.

im looking forward to the new swamp tile and my kid loves the marro so ill be getting at least one set
