Re: The Book of Siiv
Very cool assassin. I'm not sure how much I'll use him because of how fragile he seems and generally preferring lots of attacks per turn.
But, he doesn't cost much, so could have games where he more than earns his points. He could make a hole in melee screens guarding Raelin, since he'll ignore all of the pumped-up defenses. |

No, it's a special attack.

Spoiler Alert!
Just for wonders, would they if it wasn't a special attack? |

Re: The Book of Siiv
A situation that actually would matter: if MBS used Paralyzing Stare on a Rat. As flameslayer said, Scatter would not trigger.
Similarly, Warforged Resolve does not work against Quick Stab. |

Re: The Book of Siiv
Well met!
One of the armies I am considering for Islandscape is 150 Romans x 3 100 Marcus 90 Ne-Gok-Sa 50 Me-Burq-Sa 40 Siiv 440, 17 spaces, 16 figures. The Romans are always looking for a Special Attacker, and Siiv is the cheapest, most efficient one, especially for killing those annoying Deathreavers. |

That would work good.

Re: The Book of Siiv
A lot of Gencon armies this year would love to have Siiv over Theracus. Death Chasers are one.
Siiv is also extra good in this format, sicne there are fewer figures, making each Quick Stab worth more. Tournament Armies Played - C3VRP - Customs - Trades I'm Krug in the Paradox Keep and Augamo on the Sacred Tundra. Last edited by greygnarl; May 30th, 2013 at 05:45 PM. |

Re: The Book of Siiv
This is a really cool figure and when I saw it I had to have it. I went to Miniature Market as suggested, but they were sold out. So, I looked at Troll and Toad and Strike Zone Online and between the two of them there are quite a few, at least nine left. And a unique hero same sculpt (I forget his name, I did a search for Indy) and there are some of him as well.
I'm looking forward to information about the planet. I picture a sort of mosaic world that houses several species that might not hail from the other planets. rolls one less defense die against figures who like him. |
