It is 3 attack already, but I don't mind changing it to -1 defense flat. -3 defense was pretty nasty.

I don’t think her SA is all too powerful, unless you get very lucky and roll all skulls. Nightwing is just always going to be weak against any kind of defense reduction, it’s just how he works.

I've been on record many times cautioning against defense reduction mechanics that go past -2, it just where I think fun and game balance start to shift into the negative territory. That being said, I don't worry as much about it when it's not a static thing but rather based on a combat dice roll. Sometimes you just get a good roll. I've used Punishers APR so many times now and rarely seem to get 3 or more skulls. When it does happen it's pretty cool, even though it usually only seems to happen vs. someone with a high base defense and they still block or block all but 1W.

For those that find the Royal Flush Gang figures difficult to locate (especially since you need 4 Jack and Tens for the flying cards) I present the following alternatives.

Print card sheet on regular paper at actual size (printing the backside is optional). Laminate it with the thickest laminate you can. At my local Staples it is called 10mil laminate. Cut cards from in laminate, they seem to hold together just fine. The cards should now be extremely stiff and study. Cut the word bubble off the stand, near the top but really at whatever height you want the card to be. Glue the card to the stand. I found it best to place the card upside down on the table and press the stand on the card. After that sets, glue the figure to the other side.
