Re: Maxwell Strangewell
Here's the plot as I summed it up on another thread:
It's about this photographer girl named Anna who finds an amnesiac alien who can only communicate through empathetic telepathy and supposedly he's a source of ultimate power. She names him Max, after her dead dog. It gets weirder: The supporting cast is two space pirates, two Tibetan monks, a foulmouthed alien the size of an action figure, the photog girl's father (who's a doctor), an FBI agent whose partner turns out to be an evil alien, and a guy who lives on the moon and looks like Moses until he enters the Earth's atmosphere (by jumping) and burns all his skin off. The villains are a race of evil accountants who have a third eye that pops out of their heads called the Zamfirians and another race called the Dragul who are led by the vicious General Bloodsow. Yes, Bloodsow. More: The whole thing is a race to prevent the Zamfirians and the Dragul from finding Max, who htey refer to as "the Strangewell". Eventually, the foulmouthed alien, Lobscrum, tells the whole universe thhat Max is on Earth, prompting spiritual aliens who think he's a source of spiritual enlightentment (or something like that) to flock to Earth. Crazy stuff ensues. Demerge Disney And Marvel!!!

Re: Maxwell Strangewell
I find it hard to believe that it matches the weirdness level of my friend Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, but I suppose it is possible judging from your description of the plot. It's hard to find a Johnny frame that's tame enough to post on this site, but here's one
I'm selling a bunch of Heroscape stuff to pay for personal emergencies, please see my trade thread post: http://www.heroscapers.com/community...postcount=6803 |

Not even close. Off the top of my head. Try Joe Psycho and Moo Frog for the weirdest comedy, Ragmop for bizarre political satire, and Negative Burn for just plain weird. Pete the P.O'd postman. Doctor Deth with Kip and Muffy. Otr you could just the autobiographical work of Julia Ducet My New York Diary's There's a ton of small press that defies description.
