Speed Custom Terrain Contest #14
The goal of this contest is two things. Bring out some of communities Custom Terrain Talents and have fun.

RULES
1 Have fun
2 In order to be an eligible participant you must follow all guidelines provided in each contest and turn in you’re entry by the due date.
3 Once final submission is posted you are in the contest and you’re creation will be submitted as an entry.
4 No more than one entry per person. If someone creates more than one entry you must pick one to be submitted.
5 You may not submit a previous entry.
6 All entry’s must be usable in the Heroscape battle system created by Hasbro.

SUBMISSIONS
All submissions must follow all guidelines and not be in violation of the rules of this site. To officially be entered in the contest you must do three things.
1 make an entry
2 take at least 2 pictures
3 pm the entry’s to me or if specified send them to Leifkicker
When all of these are met you have entered in the contest.

Now for the fun part.

THEME
Pick your favorite army( Romans, Orcs, Elves, Omicrons, etc) and build them a camp themed for them.

HEXES
You can use how ever many hexes you feel you need. But lets not get crazy!

FIGURES
You must have at least one squad or hero of the army you choose.

TIME LIMIT
Entry's must be pm'd by August 31st 12pm


PRIZE?
If we have at least 5 entry's a prize will be rewarded from the normal list.

TIP FROM LEIFKICKER:

I can't say this enough... has anyone ever heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words"

Send a crappy picture that is all blurry or doesn't do your piece justice, then that is exactly what you are going to show everyone. A crappy picture of a possible phenomenal piece. All to often I get really blurry pictures, when you take photos of your entree, make it the best you possible can.

And also note that cell phones do not take good pictures! Its a cell phone 1st, then its all the other stuff they sell you on.

Just out of curiosity are custom figures allowed to be the focus of our camp or would you prefer we limit ourselves to official hero's and squads? Been working on a custom race lately so I thought Id ask.

Official it is then, just one last question When you say camp are you reffering to something like an outpost(TV series "MASH"), small stronghold (early colonial settlement"pilgrims/native americans"), or a mobile fortress("Technodrome" from ninja turtles cartoon). Just trying to make sure my army dont stay in one place too long, overfortifying their position to the point of ineligibilty.

I'm totally keen for this one! Already planning it now.

And yes Leif, I also believe that the picture sells the shot. (I have been guilty of poor pics myself) But top quality photos definitely give you a better chance

Sounds like an interesting theme. I'm already planning something that would fit to this contest. Hopefully I´ll get it done until the end of august.
