about finding a place to play at PSU is there a student union? at sru a student could "rent" a room for free a few of them with tables and chairs for as many as 30-40ppl.

not sure we can make it to the tourney in hopewell my son has soccer and i coach

i have much more free time once school lets out and i don't have to run the kids around as much. and i should be done with my project car by then

They have the HUB and tons of class room buildings on Penn State campus that we used to commandeer for gaming, so it really should not be a problem, but I am letting those guys figure it out, as they live there. Thanks for the tip though.

In the hub they have a giant room that they often "rent" out to events that require room for alot of people such as blood drives and club fairs. Both of those events used a very large number of tables, so I think it's pretty safe to say they come with the room. I will talk to Kalislord and see if we could possibly get that room.

I don't mean to butt in here, but I figured it'd be the place to do so.

I'm in western PA. Sharon to be exact. An 1 1/2 hours north of Pittsburgh and 1 1/2 hours south of Erie. I'm closer to Youngstown OH, but apparently that doesn't count.

I'm sorry Tiberius, rent wasn't the correct term. It's actually just the signing out of the rooms, it mainly invoves filling out paperwork.

Ah, good, I was worried we would have to fork over a couple hundred for a day or something. Which would suprise me as when I was a student there we had pretty much free run of the buildings as long as no one else was using them.

I looked at the events forum and the only thing I could find for the 31st was in Hopewell, which is 3 hours from me.

Yeah, thats the one, three hours? It takes me about a half hour to get to new castle and another 15 minutes to get up to I-80. How far north are you?

Farrell, PA. It's about 45 min or so from New Castle. I googled the directions to Hopewell, PA. Also looked up the location of the shop to make sure I had the right one.

I'd drive an hour or so just to check things out and what not, but 3 hours is a bit of a hike.

Ah got it, 3 hour round trip. Well i have done alot further with a 5 hour one way to Cincinatti and back the same day for a tournament. Fun but exhausting.
