Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
Looking at the spreadsheet, looks like the only current Ninja with D20 powers are the Turtles, so that simplifies things for testing. I'm cool with the streamlined version.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
+/- 1 is a relatively small boost, but it should make them play together better. I like it.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
I would prefer +/-2. 1 so rarely makes a difference and Raph needs all the help he can get. After testing the Dark Judges and the Wrecking Crew, I am wishing these guys were 800 total but perhaps Splinter or Casey (Nobody?) will fill in that last 100 points.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
I'd like to give Splinter a higher Ninja Focus number so let's see how they do with this. I still think Raph needs his points lowered though.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
Splinter Focus would be great, especially if it stacks with Leo.
I agree with dropping Raph's points. He needs to be more appealing. A cloud can change its semblance, yet retain its will With the intimacy of destruction, One knows what it is to be alive The empty sky holds no reflection, for sorrow - Eslo Rudkey |

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
I think doing some tests with all 4 turtles and then comparing them to tests with just Leo, Don, and Mike would help us see how much he should be dropped.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
Seems like a lot of people (including myself) have purchased the new Turtle Clix. Is this one of those times where we do alternate mini cards. The positive side is that the colored and all red mask version appear to be the same sculpt so the target icon would be the same.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
I had a look at getting some of the TMNT clix & whilst the turtles seem reasonably priced the others, especially the foot clan, seem ridiculous.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
The plan is to do mini cards for the book and the clix. Also, I don't plan on using any of these Foot minis. The Foot from the comics dress in black, not purple.

I'm still searching for a cheap proxy for squads such as the foot/hand ninja. You'd think generic plain ninja would be the easiest of all the squads but no luck so far. Found a post about some bucket of Ninja vs Robots which looked promising and seemed close for scale but it was an old post and they are harder (translated to more expensive) than the $5 for a bucket they apparently were originally. Re: The Book of Leonardo - Initial Playtest
FYI, because you didn't ask, I checked it for you and what's in the SP fits on a card comfortably.

It was a much closer game and ended up with the turtles winning with 2 Hand figures surviving and both Mike and Raph with 2W each. I think Ninja Focus really helps out the team by keeping Raph under control and we should test Leo at 210. Does anyone want to help out with these? |
