Narrow Escape not coming up again cements just cutting the power outright for me. 170 looks like it's holding up. Going to check with Redstang for his time table.

Thanks for the tests! I think we've decided to cut Narrow Escape due to lack of use in any tests. Avengers Initiative would be the perfect name for the first power. Sadly, Avengers Iron Man already stole it.

Game Summary
This was a tight game which almost saw Fury destroyed near the end. Avenger Markers were plentiful given Fury's teammates, there was never any concern that he would run out of them and not be able to use Desperate Measures. Desperate Measures was used 3 times, once for an additional attack for Hawkeye, once for an additional attack for Cap, and once to move an OM from a dead Cap to Iron Man. Cap was able to capitalize on his extra attack by rolling 5 skulls and destroying Grim Reaper early in the 3rd round. Demogoblin's Hell Fire Vindication kept the opposing squad in the game, and eventually killed off Cap. Fury was going to use his Desperate Measures one other time, to move Iron Man, but given Doc Oc's lockdown power, was unable to. It came down to Rhino vs a damaged Hawkeye and Fury. Given his tough hide, it looks as Rhino would prevail, but Hawkeye's Special Arrow was able to penetrate it. Being able to use Special Arrow with Desperate Measures would have helped a lot, but not being able to, helped keep Fury balanced.

Units: Team A: Nick Fury, Mockingbird, Captain America 240, Winter Soldier (II), Black Widow (II) – 1,010 Points
Team B: Magneto 310, Quicksilver, Black King, Mastermind, Bishop – 1, 010 points

Game Summary
This game was pretty lopsided, but Fury's involvement was less compared to the first game. Desperate Measures was used twice, once for Winter Soldier to attack Quicksilver, putting two wounds on him, and once for Captain America to attack Black King, putting two wounds on him. Even though Mockingbird was destroyed early and she had be chosen as Winter Soldier's Duo partner, Bucky and Cap rolled in this game. Winter Soldier rolled 4 skulls on attack twice, and 5 skulls on attack 3 times. Cap rolled 6 skulls on attack once, and 5 skulls on attack once. In short, Bucky and Cap put down a lot of red. Fury and Widow never moved from their starting zone as neither ever took a turn.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I know the one test is pretty lopsided, but the preference would be to keep Fury under 200. With that said, I don't believe Fury's escape power is needed. He can do everything he needs to do from the start zone, and because he can only use Desperate Measures once per round, he doesn't come off as a big enough threat for the other team to rush him right off the bat. I believe the first test is more indicative of Fury's worth given the way the dice were rolled in the second game.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT:Nice addition to the Avenger group, fun play and really helps bring them together. I would think "Avengers Initiative" would be a good name for the first power, even though is has nothing to do with rolling for initiative.

OK, feeling pretty good about his cost. Narrow Escape is cut. First power is renamed Avenger Assets.

I propose we move to Final Editing.

Definitely think the power is better off being cut, beyond it never coming up, his W-L to me means he’s best left with some more vulnerability.

Yeah, 5-2 in public testing, though Red's big win seems to have had little to do with him. Do you think we should bump to 180 or 190 to be safe?

170 should be ok. Limited to once per round stuff, not always even the best option(attacking), I’m not worried about it personally.

I’d maybe lower his range to 5 though? Mostly because I’m not sure he should have that level of marksmanship, and it’s nice to stick with repeated numbers.

I doubt he's going to attack all that much in most games anyway. Cool with lowering to 5 range (done in the SP). Sounds like you feel 170 works and I felt it did too, so we'll keep rolling.
