Re: The Book of Static (Public Playtesting)
Hmm... how about this then?

Re: The Book of Static (Public Playtesting)
I like it, but could see some “if you do” language to make the marker being required come across more clearly.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Static (Public Playtesting)
The movement only occurs as you place the marker on the card. I find that more confusing than the current version and it's weird to place the marker after the movement instead of before. I'd prefer to keep it the way it is.
Hmmm. That would make it a figure that is not a Common or Squad figure. Good call on that BTW. |

As is, you'd roll before moving him.

Re: The Book of Static (Public Playtesting)
Could just add some OM language or on their turn. I don't like having the placement after the movement.

Re: The Book of Static (Public Playtesting)
When it says you can cling a figure to a terrain piece, what exactly is that defined as? Like an actual part of the board? Or do you just mean trees and such?

Re: The Book of Static (Public Playtesting)
If I make a board using only the big 20-something hexes, the game plays totally different than if I use just singles then.

Re: The Book of Static (Public Playtesting)
I'm sorry I'm still a bit confused (I've not ever played Galactus either). If the map is 100% flat, does that mean the chosen figures will "snap" over to the edge of a new piece? Which means the game will play totally differently if I use the huge terrain pieces or an entire map of single-hexers?
Or does it mean terrain that's not flush with the rest of the map (elevation)? |

Re: The Book of Static (Public Playtesting)
That's a really good question. I totally meant for it to be like a jungle piece, evergreen tree, rock or ice outcrop, ruin, castle wall/door, battlements, or terrain level change. Maybe there is a way to specify that clearer, though I am a little concerned on text size here and don't want to add too much language. Might have to cut something somewhere
