Re: The Book of Power Girl - Public Playtesting
I'm OK with passing her forward at 400. I don't think she's significantly more of a beast at that level than Silver Surfer or Superman (I) are in certain match ups, for instance.
Might want to tag the competitive guys for thoughts, but I'd be happy to vote her forward as is. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Power Girl - Public Playtesting
Yeah, somehow this one slipped by without ever getting CRB comments. Funny, since she's the most blatantly metagamey design in the faction.
Still, I'm not overly concerned. I assume the playtests have gotten her more or less appropriately balanced for her stats/beat power. The OM rearrangement and bonding powers are both obviously very good (I'm surprised to see both on the same card, honestly), but given the factional limitations on both powers you've hardly created a Commander Rodgers/Ms. Marvel mashup here. Which is a good thing. So, definitely powerful, probably the key figure in the faction, but nothing here that makes me suspect the playtesting missed something. |

Re: The Book of Power Girl - Public Playtesting
Another set of tests never hurts, but yeah, I'm comfortable with where she's at now. The cost bumps all around should really help.

Re: The Book of Power Girl - Public Playtesting
I ran a couple more games to confirm things here, and after these I'm completely satisfied with Power Girl as-is. The only change I would consider making is to bump Quickbelle's (or more precisely, Liberty Belle's) cost by 10 points or so, since she was easily the JSA's MVP in these two games, but I'm not sure even that is needed. Thoughts?
C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Power Girl (@400 points) Army Test 1 Map: Swamp Lab (no glyphs or special rules) Units: Power Girl, Superman (Kal-L), Quickbelle, Stargirl (1,230 points) VS Captain Mar-Vell, Ronan, Kree Scouts x5, Kree Soldiers x9 (1,230 points)
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ Army Test 2 Map: Conflict Chernobyl (no glyphs or special rules) Units: Power Girl, Flash (Jay), Quickbelle, Stargirl (1,090 points) VS Gorilla City Warriors x4, Solovar, Super-Ape (Igor), Super-Ape (Mikhlo) (1,090 points)
Spoiler Alert!

Re: The Book of Power Girl - Public Playtesting
And while we're discussing Quickbelle's cost, I'm going to go ahead and propose we move Power Girl to Final Editing as-is.

I'm fine with either direction on Quickbelle. The results coming in now don't seem very worrisome. ".... the Cambridge ladies do not care, above Cambridge if sometimes in its box of sky lavender and cornerless, the moon rattles like a fragment of angry candy" |

Re: The Book of Power Girl - Vote for Final Editing
Trying to get a leg up here - does the power order seem off to anyone else? I know it's in the turn order, but the fact it alternates "JSA-PG-JSA-PG" as far as relevance goes makes it read awkwardly.
I'd like JSA All-Stars to be either the first or second power is what I'm saying - justification being that those powers can trigger on any of your figures' turns, while the others are only relevant on PG's and on opponents' turns. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

JSA, Society, Indom, Krypton seems the best order to me.

Re: The Book of Power Girl - Vote for Final Editing
Yea, I'd move All-Stars to the top and then I think we're golden as technically you reveal an OM before the start of your turn.
