Game Summary:

Going for a proper thematic build (sorta), basic idea is Eve, Tiger, Deadshot, and Atom are forming a pod with Nemesis and the Skrulls as deployable back-up and Waller, Flag and Boomer being more homebodies. Being able to launch up the squadies and then act as an 'anti-betrayal' beacon afterward was super useful, but Eve wasn't really doing anything super exciting for y'all to read about here. She played her part in the first round and her team eventually pulled through with a victory, but it was hardly something she guaranteed in round one. Overall, I'm really happy with how Nightshade played with here thematic group, she gives them a lot of tools they needed and can form a core part of the squad.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): She never had reason to attack.
• Through the Land of Nightshades: Teleported herself, Tiger, Deadshot and Atom (sorta) up to a good high point. She managed to only take everyone 10 spaces or less, avoiding stunning them for the whole round. She also kept the option open to just book part of the team out of the fire, but she never ad to do it.
• Reactionary Phasing: Didn't come up.
• Phantom Walk: Didn't come up.
• Damage Taken: She missed being hit by Thor's Lightning and otherwise was never attacked as killing her was both difficult and mildly pointless.

Result: Nightshade, Rick, and Waller all remain unwounded to go off in search of a new Suicide Squad, leaving a 1 life Boomerang behind to throw pies at people. This sounds like a blow-out, but honestly had Boomer not came through with a lucky hit on Beta Ray the creepy horse man would have probably swept most of the team.

Game Summary:

So the idea here is basically just Nightshade can teleport up a bunch of passive defense figures to support the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents without worrying about them being stunned by the trip Through the Land of Nightshades. It played out ok, with a big chunk of the team able to get set up from the get go, but the problem was Nightshade has little offensive prowess herself and her little pod didn't leave room for a more offensive Agent Hero. So after enduring a few Kill-Box SAs and Chainguns, the Mutants just out-preformed the understaffed S.H.I.E.L.D. team. Ultimately, I think this is an interesting idea to basically add an extra three people to the Drop Team, but not something I'm worried about unless we get some Agents with fairly juicy passives at some point.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): She was stuck attacking more than she really wanted to, mostly failing to do much. She did land two wounds on Angel and one wound on Dazzler though.
• Through the Land of Nightshades: Teleported up herself, Warmachine, and Cash on the first turn their team got. The nature of her cargo made stunning them irrelevant.
• Reactionary Phasing: Didn't have the best luck here, but it did negate two attacks.
• Phantom Walk: Used once, Blob locked her down pretty quick though.
• Damage Taken: Took two wounds from Cable at one point after a botched ranged Phasing roll, Blob eventually hit her for her two remaining life.

Result: Cable remains with 2 life, along with a full health Black King..

Map: Island Plane Crash (No E-Glyph)
Units: S.W.O.R.D. Of Shadows: Nightshade (205), Abigail Brand (170), Scarlet Witch (285), Scorpion (Carmilla) (120)- 780 total vs Alpha Guardians: Star Lord (250), Rocket Raccoon (195), Puck (230), Groot (105)- 780 total

Game Summary:

Nothing super special here, it's just a compact little army that can basically keep the whole group together between Eve and Abby and has two durable places to store your OMs that can also do useful non-attacking things. Unfortunately for team girl power, Scarlet Witch didn't really have anything super juicy to screw up with her Curse Markers and the other team just had more efficiency going on. However, Eve's team was generally just getting their defensive and offensive powers going at the right times and managed to pull out the win. I didn't really feel Nightshade payed a terribly big role in that though. All she did was teleport herself and Scorpion up early on and then hang around as back-up for most of the game, though after Scarlet Witch went down she did get the OMs just as a safe spot for Brand to 'shuffle turns from.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): Not used.
• Through the Land of Nightshades: Teleported herself and Scorpion up at the end of the first round (and getting a Brand activation of Scarlet Witch after). After an initiative switch, she used it again to teleport Brand 4 spaces in the final round (Brand getting to take a turn right after).
• Reactionary Phasing: She dodged one attack early on. It mostly just discouraged attacking again as the other team had bigger fish to fry.
• Phantom Walk: Only came up like once.
• Damage Taken: Took one from a Bomb, eventually got another wound from Puck.

Result: A two life Nightshade is feeling pretty healthy compared to Brand and Scorpion each at one life

Overall: Nightshade is a tricky one, I think she plays very much like she should thematically at the moment, and her teleportation power doesn't feel busted, but it's a power with a big impact and can be kinda hard to judge. It wouldn't surprise me if her points end up bumped a bit at some point, but so far I'm comfortable moving her forward.
