BTW, my wave 7 figs arrived last week. Some pretty cool figs. The lances on the knights are very flimsy...gotta be extra careful with those. And, they only put land tiles in two of the 4 packs this time. Was a bit disappointed they were snow tiles again.

Dotman should be getting his Wave 7 here on Wednesday he told me. I also hope to get the Marvel set sometime this week

Also, about a Colorado game day, I am free any saturday from this upcoming one extending indefinitely. If we could set up a game day this weekend, that would be great, if it has to wait till another, that's understandable (hell, we'll still play at my house anyway, lol). But I'm up for having a game day as soon as all the other Colorado Scapers are up for.

I'm seriously considering buying the Marvel set today. Does anyone have the Marvelscape set? If so, would you recommend it?

Earlier today I saw the UPS notice at my apartment door and was enthralled to find Wave 7 had finally arrived! The Ashigaru "Rice hats" warriors are a good army to invest in, despite having only 1 Def per each, but that just gives me more use out of my Einar Flagbearer. I also purchased the heroes set mainly for Isamu (I haves a thing for ninjas...)(again, a slight dissapointment with him having only 1 Def, but only a 10 point cost!), however the vampire couple (literally a couple) are some fearsome mufkas (<- don't ask).

I too am available this weekend for whatever comes to mind.

So I decided to buy the Marvelscape set and I completely love it. Though the high cost of most the characters doesn't leave room for much else in a low point army...that kinda sucks

Yeah, that is one adjustment that needs to be made if using marvel together with regular axx hs

We usually play with 300-500 point armies, but if marvel is to be used, bump that up to 600-1000.

Is the 600-1000 using both sets? We did a game today with 600 point armies. I think that's a good amount. I must say though, I love using Cyprien Esenwein. He is one badass vampire. I mean, I'm not usually a huge fan of vampires, but I'm looking at getting the other vampire set now

I bought my wave 7 at the mills mall at It's Your Move about a week or so ago. I also found some flagbearers at the toysrus in westminster.
