Some ideas for scenarios
Hello
First of all, sorry for my bad english, and if there is any "harsh" language in my text (wich I think there is not). I am not a good map maker, so I wonder if someone maybe would help me make some maps for these scenarios ideas that I have? About 2 master sets, 1-2 RttFF, 1 FotV. (Some idea of the scale for the maps) Idea nr: 1 Bridge of supplies - A symmetrical with a bridge in the middle, maybe some small passage on the edges of the map. Map special: Before the player roll for initiative, the player who is in control of the bridge get to roll the 20d. The different rolls: 1 - nothing happen 2-11 - Revive a figure whos armycard have 0-100p (can be a hero or 1 figure from a squad) 12-19 - Revive a figure whos armycard have 0 - 200p 20 - Revive any figure of your choice (from your army) Goal: Kill the opponets entire army. Idea nr: 2 The map contains 3 glyphs that works as control points (or a base if you want). You cant stand on the glyph or move through it. (not even with flying) To take control of a Glyph (base) you need to hit it with one ofe your attack (not special attack). If you succed to hold it for an entire round you will get 1 point. The player with the most point after the 12th round wins. (If you want you can play with respawn/revive or not). Idea nr: 3 This is simular to idea nr 2. But instead of glyph's there is 3 areas with the 7-hex map part. To take control of it you need to have majority in that zone. If you have the majority for an entire rount you will score 1 point. (If you want you can play with respawn/revive or not). That is some of my ideas. As you can see I belive maps that uses area control system is fun. What do you think? Are they bad or good? The "Bridge of Supplies" idea sounds fun. How do you determine who "controls" the bridge? Will it be whomever occupies a certain hex, like the castle door? Maybe when only friendly figures occupy the bridge, it is under your control? Sorry I don't have a map suggestion for you, but I would try this out sometime once the details are hammered out. Great idea.

That was why I posted my ideas here, for som help on making them better.
But in pure logical I would say the whole bridge. (You alone have one or more units on the bridge. But maybe for the gameplay it maybe would be better with one hex in the middle of the road. Every idea is welcomed |
