That was what I was thinking after reading over Bat's play tests but I wanted to wait and see a bit more before bringing it up. By taking out one level (a 7 hex tile) from the SZ adj. hills, then the middle ground becomes ultimate HG and both teams have an incentive to take it over rather than stay put next to their SZ. Not as concerned about the smaller 2 hex levels off to one side. Actually think that might help a team make a comeback if they lose the initial fight over the center of the map HG. Rally around one of those 2 hex spots and make a final stand.

I didn't think of that about the 2 hex spots. Interesting idea as a last stand spot. Maybe I'll keep them. They rarely have come into play.

Yeah, I'd keep them.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Going to go ahead and drop the height next to the start zone by removing 1 7-Hex. I'll update but the VS file and pdf.

We could always play it in our 2v2 tonight and you could write up your thoughts in a playtest sheet.

Played a 4 player game on this map last night with the change of height near the start zone. I think it was a useful change. It did force a figure with a 7 range to move. It could reach some of the middle of the map but now it lost height advantage. In this 4 player game the action was all over the map not just one or 2 places.
