I don't really wanna go back to the old teleport power. While I was playtesting her I didn't even feel the need to actually use the power. The way it is written now you can at least make it up a cliff, or disengage if need be with a slight chance of a negative effect.

The only change I might make is to make both movement portions random.

I don't see the need for that, the whole move is random since the combat dice portion is not optional.

Small edit here. Realized I worded the power poorly. Both effects should only apply on adjacent attacks.

Generally, I prefer the simpler versions of the Stepping Disc power. The OG version, but you succeed on a 6 or so looks cooler to me than the combat dice version.

Where have you been all my life? I love the wording here. Same effect but it comes out smoother.

R1: Following Magik’s lead Cyclops moves up and bags another Lurker. Cyclops drops a Walker.
R2: Jubilee kills 3 walkers with Fireworks, but deals 1 damage to Magik. Iron Patriot and Batman each deal 1 damage to Magik.
R3: A Roamer hits Magik for 1 damage and another hits Jubilee for 2 damage. Iron Patriot deals 1 damage to Magik. Batman deals 3 damage to Jubilee killing her and replacing her with a Walker. X-23 smokes a Walker. Iron Patriot takes Magik out of the game dealing 1 damage to her and replacing her with a Walker. Cyclops and X-23 each take out a Zombie.
R4: Cyclops blasts a Lurker down. X-23 kills a Lurker and Cyclops takes out the last Roamer. Iron Patriot hits X-23 for 1 damage. Cyclops deals 3 damage to Batman. Iron Patriot deals 3 damage to X-23 and Batman deals 2 damage to Wolfsbane.

Summary:
For the most part the Mutants made quick work of the Undead and moved on to the real threat. Things started getting real when Iron Patriot and Batman started doing some damage. The Zombies were more of a distraction than anything. The mutants held strong and pulled out a win.

R3: Havok unleashes his Plasma Burst deal 3 damage to Red Robin and 3 damage to Starfire. Nightwing attacks Professor X and deals 2 damage.
R4: Starfire moves to finish the job Nightwing started, she deals 2 damage to Professor X killing him. Zatanna deals 1 damage to Nightwing. Arsenal deals 1 damage to Banshee and Starfire follows the attack up dealing 2 more damage killing him. Nightwing deals 1 damage to Magik.
R5: Starfire deals 2 damage to Havok over 2 attacks. Havok deals 2 damage to Arsenal killing him. Starfire hits Havok for 3 damage killing him.
R6: Starfire smacks Zatanna for 2 damage over 2 attacks. Zatanna heals for 1 with Healing Energy. Nightwing deals 1 damage to Magik.
R7: Nightwing deals 1 damage to Magik. Nightwing deal another 1 damage to Magik. Nightwing finally takes Magik down with 1 damage. Nightwing deals 1 damage to Zatanna.
R8: Nightwing sweeps the board taking out Zatanna with 1 damage.
Winning Team: Nightwing with 1 wound.

Summary:
This was a good match. The Titans are a force to be reckoned. Superboy made the first swing and got everyone’s confidence boosted. The Titans moved in and were devastated by a few spells thanks to Magik. As the Titans fall so did the Mutants, down to Nightwing and Zatanna. Zatanna didn’t stand a chance in the end. Nightwing was victorious.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Magik is leaps and bounds more fun than her original draft. Her Stepping Discs power is fun to use now. Soul Sword is still situational but is more useful now. I could see her Attack power being boosted to 4. It’s hard to land a hit adjacent much less at range, even on figures with equal point cost. She is pretty enjoyable to play, even if you can’t seem to land your teleport just right lol.
