Strongest "Themed" Army? (Class/Species)

If you had to build an army of all the same Class (Agents, Deathwalkers, Beasts,...) or of all the same Species* (Elves, Soulborgs,...) what would you choose and who would you draft?


*Because there are sooo many and varied Human units, if you choose Humans as your species they must be of the same General as well.

Well, what army "theme" would you choose?

Here are some of the more obvious combos:

Agent: Krav Maga, Nikita, and Gorillinators
Soulborg: Blastatrons, Gladiatrons, and either Deathreavers, DW9K, or X17.
Soldier: 4th Mass and Sgt. Drake
Orc: gruts, archers, nerak and/or swogs, and tornak or grimnak
Vipers: EOV, Venocs, Armoc, Mittens
Marro: Ne-gok-sa, MBS, mw, and drones (The Marros suffer in that they can't use the hounds under your criteria.)

If you use just Human there are tons of options, but I don't think that one is really very fair considering how many there are...

If I had some Gorillinators (what with wave 3 out of stock everywhere) I'd probably go with the Agents combo because of the coolness factor.

I would have to say that the Kyrie would be the strongest. You have:

Concan
The Sentinels
Taelord
The Minions
Raelin
Kelda
Saylind
(and of course the squad of Kyrie and two additional Kyrie heroes showing up in wave six.)

I think an elf army would work.

You have the Aubrien archers for a great ranged units, then the Warriors of Ashra for melee fighting. You can add in Syvarris for a powerful ranged hero, and Morsbane if you happen to go up against some of the powerful behemoths like Charos or Braxas.

I like the Agent and Einar (Human) armies. A venoc army would be pretty fun too.

No. At the moment, the only armies that a pure kyrie would stand a chance against is another melee army. We need kyries with range dammit!

For now, flying plus range has been limited to the almighty Dragons -- and that's only special attacks or abilities. No unit has flying plus ranged normal attack. Perhaps there is a reason for this-- as in too unbalancing.
