Yea seems like a good way to get a little more superman flavor.

yea. Was planning to do a retest with a fix to the mistake I made, which I could still do in the next couple of days here if you wanted, but I won't hold things up if you don't want. I could also do 35 points and the Kryptonian Armor and 3 defense, of course, if I did those, just as a one game sanity test. I could get it done during the day tomorrow at the latest. Just lemme know.

I am! I feel bad about the screw up and it makes sense with the other adjustments here. I'll put it on my to do list.

The defense 3/Kryptonian Armor thing isn't noted here, but wasn't a problem. When Superman wanted to kill an Action Figure, he typically overkilled it by a bit. Batman did as well with the one he punched out. The fact that you have to attack them at all is the main defensive feature of these guys.

Round 1: Initiative World’s Finest. Batman advances.
Gundam and three Action Figures advance.
Superman zips forward and smashes an Action Figure from height.
Gundam can’t hit Superman with a special. Two Action Figures miss Optic Laser attempts on Superman.
Superman wants to avoid engaging Superman Action Figures so that he can attack the Gundam, so he tries his Heat Vision, but whiffs.
Gundam can’t hit Superman with its special and 3 Action Figures go. One engages Superman. They all try and fail Optic Lasers.


Round 2: Initiative Toyman. Gundam can’t hit Superman from range. Action Figures move near Toyman to block Superman’s path. Two try Optic Lasers and one finally hits.
Superman crushes another Action Figure.
Gundam rolls all skulls for the special and zaps Superman for 3 wounds. Action Figures reposition to limit Superman’s options, but stay out of engagement. They hit both Optic Lasers attempts for wounds on Superman, who is down to 2 Life.
Superman crushes another Action Figure.
Gundam rolls all skulls on the special attack again and finishes Superman. Two Action Figures go after Batman and go one of two on Optic Lasers rolls.
Batman hits an Action Figure with his Bolas to destroy it, then punches out another.


Round 3: Initiative Batman. He destroys the second to last Action Figure with his Bolas, but can’t punch the Gundam.
Gundam punches out Batman to end it.

Unit Summary: On a map like Conflict Chernobyl, where the middle has a fair number of narrow spaces and chokepoints, it was possible to position the Superman Action Figures to make it so that any figure who moved adjacent to the Gundam would have to move into engagement with the Action Figures, effectively screening the Gundam. So the Action Figures were able to act defensively here and maintain their full Optical Laser efficiency other than one roll made from engagement. The Gundam hit all skulls on its special attack twice against Superman to make short work of the Man of Steel.

• OPTICAL LASERS: Rolled [11] times and put [4] wounds on [Superman [3], Batman [1]]

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Gundam with Full Life, Toyman with Full Life, 1 of 7 Superman Action Figures and all 4 RC Cars win.

Seems like the Action Figures did their job, but the Gundam really cut through Superman there.

Yes. Their job was to keep the Gundam clean and maybe get in an auto wound or two and that's what they did. I think the map and match up played in their favor here. Should be good at 35 points based on overall testing, but they're solid at that cost, IMO.
