C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Tree Of Life/Death Version tested:
Spoiler Alert!
Army Test Map: Dr Jekyll custom map Units: Frankenstein, Spike, Solomon Grundy 290, Skrull Infiltrator VS Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Daredevil 200, Spider-Man 160
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ Army Test Map: City Park Units: Guardian of the Universe - Scar, Black Lantern Uncommon Heroes x4(Pink, Yellow, Red and Blue) VS Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Silver Surfer 400, Iceman 150
Spoiler Alert!
GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: The Trees were fun to test but I think they are very map dependent on how much they effect game play. In game 1 they really didn't come into play except for a couple of movement boost. In game 2 on City Park they played a very big roll. Both team benefited and were hurt by the Trees either getting a defensive bonus or reduction. Both side had to be aware of placement which created some fun situations, but not game breaking ones. I see no need for change of this design and highly recommend trying these out on the City Park map as they are in the middle of the map and come into play more. |

Re: The Book of Tree of Life/Death (VOTE for Public Playtest
Good start! And, yeah, any terrain piece is going to be an ingredient for map building, bit the ultimate effectiveness of the build will depend on a lot of factors.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Tree of Life/Death (Public Playtesting)
Thanks for the playtests! I really liked the City Park map for these bad boys. It's a really good choice and they look great on the map as well.

Re: The Book of Tree of Life/Death (Public Playtesting)
I might put the last line of Life Aura first. Right now it's a bit confusing in its placement since it's a default on part of the power, rather than something contingent on destruction of the tree.
Then I'd probably move the last line of Death Aura to match. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: TREE OF LIFE/DEATH VERSION TESTED
Spoiler Alert!
Army Test Map: Wakandan Royal Forest Units: (DARK JUDGES) Judge Fear (145), Judge Mortis (165), Judge Fire (195), Judge Death (295) (800) vs (TITANS GO!) Nightwing (I) (200), Starfire (210), Raven (190), Cyborg (I) (200) (800)
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ Army TestMap: Wakandan Royal Forest Units: (SINISTER SIX) Doctor Octopus (Sinister Six), Kraven, Electro, Sandman, Vulture and Mysterio (1000) vs Fantastic Four (1000)
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ UNIT SUMMARY: Light, fun touches. The movement parts never came up for me and honestly I feel could be dropped to streamline them. The defense mattered more and why would you run out of the life-giving aura of the tree if you didn’t have to?

Re: The Book of Tree of Life/Death (Public Playtesting)
It was fun! Love the "enchanted forest" vibe it gets with the tree placements.
