Since the tree is about to move into Public Playtesting, I figured I would drop this here for some discussion. Any thoughts on this fellas? Good, Bad, Ugly?

![]() Have we used the Growing Pains title for anything? Maybe Overgrown or Rapid Growth could work as well? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I'm not a member of this group(yet?) but I thought I'd put this up here. It's over due in my opinion. I'd be happy to LD this once Klaw is wrapped up. Similar to the Evergreen Tree but its an unblockable attack instead of an auto-wound. I decided on that because Palm trees and thinner than Evergreen trees and could possibly miss. Open to feedback.
Palm Tree LIFE- 1 DEFENSE- 6 PALM TREE Whenever a special power on an Army Card refers to a Jungle Piece, it refers to Palm Tree as well. THICK FOLIAGE When defending against a non-adjacent attack, a small, medium, or large figure adjacent to Palm Tree may roll 1 additional defense die. A figure cannot receive more than 1 defense die from Thick Foliage or Jungle Pieces. FALLING PALM TREE If an Palm Tree is destroyed at any point during your turn, before removing it from the Battlefield you must choose 2 spaces in a straight line from that Palm Tree. All figures on these spaces whose bases are not higher than the height of that tree each rolls 1 unblockable attack die. Huge figures are not affected. |

Simple and straightforward, I like it. Good I idea with the unblockables to set it apart from the Evergreens.

An issue that has been brought up in the past for Jungle Trees is that since they are attached to hexes, destroying and removing them often creates holes on the battlefield.

When the trees and bushes are on the map those spaces can't be occupied so I'm ok with them leaving empty spaces that can't be occupied on occasion when destroyed. (I know that's a terrible run-on sentence! )
