Hawkeye 5-9-11
Indian Aura helping, unique hero
I new right away what I wanted to make him look like, but I have had trouble coming up with his abilities. I like how he turned out though. He is the opposite of Brave Arrow and enhances the Indians. He originally was a healer, then a wild animal mover, and then became his own.

I had to make a lizardfolk king for the greenscale warriors to fallow under general Ullar. He is a big hitter, but I wanted him to only be when with the greenscales just as they do when with their lizard king. He turned out perfect. Possible 6 plus attack die, and possible 6 attacks. Samurai New 5-7-11
Spoiler Alert!
During an attack on one of General Einar's castles, by Valkrill's Orcs, Zelrig has been cornered by Grimnak and an army of Thesk Orcs. The Izumi samurai came to Zelrig's aid. They had no chance, quickly they fell to Grimnak's Chomp and being overcome by the orcs. One Izumi Samurai not only survived but was able to fight back the forces and with Zelrig's help defeat them.
Zelrig, impressed by this Izumi Samurai, ask him to be his personal guardian. The Izumi samurai asked for only one favor in exchange for his life, to summon another clan of samurai for him to control. His brothers from his old world, the Nushi clan. Zelrig granted his favor and summoned the Nushi Clan to his army. He then breathed upon his sword, giving the majestic power of his flame to be welded by his new Eternal Guard.

This figure does best when in a Custom Bravo Soldier Army. He himself is not a Bravo though and would benefit from Marcus. First send out your Flamethrower units out, then send out Sgt Felix. His attack will bonus off the figures around him. Sniper, Motor and

Elite Minesweepers 4-29-11
Mine Glyph dropping, medium unique squad.
Spoiler Alert!
This unit was tried differently a few games. I wanted opponents to want to walk onto the mines, not for them just to be strategically placed in choke points. At first two duds and two live mines were placed upside down, then it was changed to if you roll a 1-5 nothing happens, 6 or higher reveal the glyph. With it being 1-5 nothing would need to change on treasure glyph except the picture, also if you place mines next to treasure glyphs players may tend to forget which was which. I went with a fifty fifty chance each time you get on one.

So Sentinel Destroyer is a Soulbourg that was created by the Litharians. When in a large Point game, adding at least one of these units looks great. plus he adds a lot of help to the Litharian team. Since he is high in points as the other Litharians I play tested him with this army.

I have always wanted to build a 500-600 point army of Mech warriors. My first idea was to have humans inside advanced robotic body armor. The thought of creating a new alien race to go to Valkrill was so much more fun. These guys really came out while in production.

Litharian Robotic Strengthening Unit, common hero
Spoiler Alert!
I wanted this figure to be bonded to the Litharian Protectors, but I also wanted the player to have to want to place order markers on him and use him as an individual. I didn’t want him to be another Q9 unit or Soulbourg that attacks from a far. With his self-destruct and adjacent attack, he needs to be in and around your opponent’s army. So I came up with an ability to give him direct orders while on the map. Actually he is so spontaneous, that not even the player knows what actually will happen.

In play testing this figures 4 attack with his special made him very strong, especially with 6 life. So attack, life, hit zone, font, and font sizes were changed. When using the Assassins, they didn't last very long when advancing first. I had to have two or three squads, and by that time they weren't worth the points. Untrained Velrig 2-1-11
Large Marro Dragon, Uncommon Hero
Spoiler Alert!
This figure is to be Su-Bak-Na's dragon's younger untrained form. Before the Marro take these dragons for their own, they are first wild and untrained. That is how I came up with his unique power. He will either help you or kill you. To help yourself though, try keeping low cost squad figures around him to take the beating for your army once in a while.
This is a toy purchased from Walmart. The dragon is from How to train your Dragon, by disney. It costed 2 dollars, and with a quick repaint and dry brush, have a small heroscape dragon. O, and there were like 25 of them so thats why I made him uncommon.
Marro Turret 2-16-11
Un-manned multi shot gun, destructible object
Spoiler Alert!
The Marro Hive has been in danger too many times. With the help of Utgar's Soulbourgs, the Marro built Marro Turrets to defend their Hive. Their attack is powerful and unless you get in close your going to have a hard time destroying one. BUT why destroy it when you can take control of the Marro Turret. Sure since the defending figure is on a latter they will have height advantage, but Marro Turrets swivel in all directions. I know a few soldiers that can take these down fast and turn them on the hive.

In action view
Marro Turret was created from a squad of Marro stingers and rats. The base is from two things: the rock formation, which can be subsituted for anything that you can find, and a ladder piece. The rock formation was originally used as the base for the Utgar dragon sculpt, I repainted. The base Can be purchased in any toy section from the movie "How to train a Dragon" toys. To build the turret you need: rats, which you could build into 4 turrets and need 4 stinger squads which is in two master sets.
This unit is priced low so that all 4 would only equal 200 points to the marro army. I play it in scenarios where we say only a Marro figure can use it or a Utgar figure. As the card reads anyone can use it. Even when a non range unit uses the Marro Turret the total range is only 5 and they can only use it with normal attacks. Same with Range units, they can't add more to their range, but they can gain 2 possible attack die, 1 for height and 1 for the ability. Most figures on a Marro Turret would only have 5 attack, on average. The Marro Turret hits where I wanted it to and limits units from totally dominating on it.

Basically this is a great idea. If you have customized a unit like my group has for Samuel Brown, and you have at least one squad of each the 4th and 10th, you automatically have 3X squads of the Mercenary Regiments.
They are fun to play as a neutral unit. They are at low cost, because the person that places them in their army can loose their strength to their opponent.
SGT. BLAKE ADAMS 2-12-11
Sand Unit, Unique Hero
Spoiler Alert!
The General Vydar looks to the battlefield and sees Jandar's mighty soldier Alexander and his elite unit drop from the sky. Vydar had to have his own set of soldiers. The figures he brings to the battle field are hidden in the sands of Sudema's temple. Their tricky ways will be the greatest defensive weapon he will have.
His weapon was cut up, and modified with parts from marro figure's weapons. His hand gun is also from the marro. His arm was simply repositioned to give him the look of someone standing in front of you holding a hand gun sideways to your face
He and his squad, which is still in the development process, will be great defensive units. You can't shoot him from a far, so get Blake to a sand tile, and wait for the units to come. Once within range unleash a possible 6 attack onto a possible of 3 units. OR move him in for the kill. Sure only a 3 attack, but shoot the unit from a 6 range, then on your next turn move adjacent, taking away one of their defense die and then the 3 attack will seem much more.
A fun unit to try both, defensively and offensively.

Spoiler Alert!
Vampire Hunters
Spoiler Alert!
A small village was being attacked by a force of undead vampires and zombies alike. After the undead had their feast, a group of men vowed to learn how to kill these "things". This group took the title of Vampire Hunters. On a trail for revenge, as they hunt down their undead foe, they viscously work together to get the first attack.
Dragon Slayer
Spoiler Alert!
In a small village high in the mountains, there was a group of warriors that were seeking how to learn about peace and harmony from a tribe of monks. A Dragon flew into the village and destroyed the monks for not paying refuge to him. After this the small group of warriors declared to learn the way of the dragon and hunt every last one of them for what they do. They call themselves Dragon Slayers.
Orc Hunters
Spoiler Alert!
Ullar was holding a young elf camp on archery. The Ullar scouts were over run by a new group of orc death chasers. The Ullar's scouts had no chance, and the orc army proceeded into the archery camp and destroyed what they could. A few young hunters were able to run into the shadows. After the madness had settled the young hunters gathered together and swore an oath to hunt down all orc figures. They called themselves orc hunters and gain allies the more times they kill an orc. Go for the Orc champion first they say, and then take down the warriors.
Beast Hunter
Spoiler Alert!
People going hunting for sport all the time. Especially hunters of Einar. The Beast Hunters are fierce and love to show off their skill.
Marro Hunter
Spoiler Alert!
A group of dwarves were forging weapons, in a secret location, near a marro hive. Their purpose was to find new abilities and inventions to destroy the marro. The Hive located the dwarves and killed all the scientists working on weapons. The dwarves took an oath to use the weapons against the Marro and hunt them all to extinction. Destroy the hives they say, thats they way, destroy the hive, we are Marro Hunters.
Bounty Hunter
Spoiler Alert!
A fierce and famous group of drow hunters have decided to use their skills to get rich. They will hunt anyone just place a bounty on some ones head and they will take them down. Drow Scorpion Bounty Hunters.
Gith
Spoiler Alert!
When used with other hunters, he can move around the map with high attacks. If using all seven hunters, he would have an attack of 7 against a lot of figures, and has range with defense 6 life 6, so points are high for the scenarios that need them to be.
Greater Elementals 10-23-2010
Spoiler Alert!
Cyclone Elemental
Spoiler Alert!
So what I wanted to do with the Cyclone Elemental was make a figure that would simply scramble everything on the field, thus came about the power "Cyclone Disengage". Kept him in the same stats as the Greater Ice Elemental and wanted him to compliment the Air Elemental. So basically, air elemental stops them, and Cyclone comes through and picks them up.
Greater Wave Water Elemental
Spoiler Alert!
With the Greater Wave Water Elemental I wanted to create a Tsunami affect that could wash away figures. The power "Tidal Wave". Try and roll to see if you can place some water tiles. note: if this power ever came out, people would love all the water they would get. Also they are a great defense to the water elementals.
Greater Fire Elemental
Spoiler Alert!
Greater Fire Elemental brings back all our molten lava figures. Basically there are only melee units with Molten Lava Resistance, so I made a power to give them range. This also helps out the Fire Elementals, because they can set up and fire with high attack, low range.
Elemental of the Desert
Spoiler Alert!
For Vydar, I thought and element should be in common with Sudema. A mummy of the desert. So Vydar gets Elemental of the Desert. A new common hero for Kurrok to move through the ranks. Something the elementals not good against, is range squad units. So this addition allows them not to be targeted, but watch out it also helps your opponent...."sandstorm".
A Unique Squad, they have a leader that bonds with them for Valkrill to help the fact that they are a 2 unit squad. Their ability allows an attack of possible 6. I added the cheat ability, because it just seems more like a Valkrill unit.
Card
DnD figure
These Monks are hard to bond with Aquilla's monk hero, because they just bounce all over the place. Their ability is the stealth leap and shaolin assault abilities combined. I like how they turned out and they are a nice combo to play with any units, especially their leader.
Master Vanix 3-8-11
Einar Mind Mond, Unique Hero
Spoiler Alert!
I wanted to keep to the theme of the Monks, but not contribute to the same style of attacks on all the cards. I've made a series of Monk cards for each of the Generals. Here is the first, Vydar's monk, a master of the mind, don't get to close, or you'll be revealing more than you want to.
Card

Black Bear 3-1-11
Self Healing, Uncommon hero
Spoiler Alert!
I was sitting down wondering what bears are known for, and how that can be incorporated into a heroscape figure. Hibernation and Fear are great examples of a wild bear. And a great Strong hero that heals itself and you can have multiples.
Card
Dungeons and Dragons figure.
Play this figure with 2 or 3 and you'll notice his possibilities in his numbers. Attack with his 6 dice until injured, then place him in healing, bring in your next bear attack until injured, then place him in healing and bring the healed Black Bear back out. Place a ranged unit and a squad hero combo and you have a great mix.
Werewolfs are powerful but so are African legend werecats. Shape shifting humans to a type of wild cat, usually much larger and more powerful. I wanted to do just that, create a figure that literally changes to a werecat. In one form I wanted her to be good against Unique Heros and the other form to be powerful against squad figures.
Card
Card Transformation
This is a DnD figure.
This figure has multiple synergies. In her Hybrid for, the Werewolf Lord can howl an 11 or higher to take a turn with her. As a tricky figure she bonds with the other Vydar tricky team. In Cougar form she can bond with Valkrill's Orcs as he is a large wild hero. In Cougar Form she is powerful, but your taking a strong chance of a bad roll killing him and her with his 1 life. 4 Def.

Bloodlust, unique hero

Because of all the video games that have Bloodlust Orcs, I thought this was a great opportunity to give an Orc the Bloodlust ability. Which makes him very powerful. With a shield of wild orcs around the Chief, he will be hard to stop.

Roc3-8-11
Flying Eagle, Unique Hero
Spoiler Alert!
I didn't want to make the basic carry type figure nor talon grab, so I came up with Rocs ability to bond with Unique Heros, as if he is a large side kick or something. Fly in for an attack, or swoop in an carry a hero to safety. I love how this card turned out. If you want to help play test or post any comments on the development process on some of these customs please do so.

Croc 3-2-11

When searching through the DnD books, this figure had a swallow power. I thought it was a great power, so I simply changed it into Heroscape words and placed a card together for him. I like it.

Behemoth looks like just my type of figure-a big beatstick hero-and I love his powers. He looks priced about 20 points high, though.
The way Menelauis is worded you can use him to take a turn with 1 Minion figure, 1 Sentinel figure and 1 Protector figure. Was that intentional?
The Dark Assassins' Stealth Flying says Menelauis in the power description. Is the overlap between Teleport and Stealth Flying worth the points in your experience?
This figure is to be Su-Bak-Na's dragon's younger untrained form. Before the Marro take these dragons for their own, they are first wild and untrained. That is how I came up with his unique power. He will either help you or kill you. To help yourself though, try keeping low cost squad figures around him to take the beating for your army once in a while.
This is a toy purchased from Walmart. The dragon is from How to train your Dragon, by disney. It costed 2 dollars, and with a quick repaint and dry brush, have a small heroscape dragon. O, and there were like 25 of them so thats why I made him uncommon.
Hammertron Gaurd
This figure I found at vallue village. Three sculpts for a dollar. I believe they are all hero clix, but they were in a dnd box, and some had no bases.
This is Valkrill's first soulbourg figure i'm showing off. There will be one more. This figures ability to heal upon each attack towards him makes him very annoying to destroy. Either choose to have 1 attack of 4 or 2 attacks of 2. I've played this unit and love it. I need to find a few more.
Erean Dryer Athem
I was googling elvish names and came across a web page that had prefixes for the elvish language. So I put together this name. Er means Winter ean means rider, Dryer is champion of and Athem means dragons. So basically, Winter Rider Champion of Dragons.
I wanted him to seem as if he hides in the snow and then pounces out to freeze you in your spot. So snow camo and frost bite. Hold position on the snow and take away melee units ability to place order markers. Tricky figure to use, but fun in snow.
its late, but I still have 4 more customs to post. I'll be back tomorrow.
Good job. I just have 2 things to say.
1.Awesome job on making the figures.
2. Your cards could be edited a bit to sound more official.
Menelauis card says, "You may move 1 kyrie hero or 3 kyrie squad figures". Kato has a similar power, but it is worded, "1 samurai hero or 1 Samurai squad."
Being that all kyrie squads are 3 figure squad, the wording is unnecessary and you can make your card sound more official.
And the Drow Kyrie. You need to clarify the teleport power. You can't move each of the three figures to the same chosen place. Instead you could word it as such. "Choose an opponent's figure within 8 clear sight spaces of the Assassins. You may place up to three Assasian you control adjacent to the chosen figure."
Also opponent is spell wrong on the Assassin card.
Again great job on the figures and everything. I envy you.
He has multiple weapons so I gave him a ranged special and an enhanced melee attack. I didn't give him range without the special, because I wanted this figure to basically choose which of the specials to use. Originally he had a 3rd special and 0 attack, but I changed it, because of the play.
Verngolly
This figure is meant to temporarily give heros the ability to fly, need i say more. very useful.
Glothicus
Origonally this figure was meant to bond with archers, or add attack to archers, but I changed that to him gaining strength from archers. His single arrow is like deadeye dans power.
Ginarbrik Mace
Meant to be able to bond with fearless squads, but since there isn't many went with small squads. Depending on how game play goes, he may be changed to only aquilla small squads.
Thanks for the feedback on these guys killometer and yesiamthatguy.
So the wording was significantly changed and hopefully better to understand now. The game play is exactly the same, they are able to gain higher ground in their teleport now. In the testing stages they proved to be too strong with an attack of 4. so 4 was reduced and the ability to get them into close combat quickly made them a very useful force. Usefulness made points go up. Also I was spelling the word ASSASSIN wrong, as well as everyone else, but this is how assassin is spelt.
Thanks again, let me know if you like the new card alterations.
Verngolly is pretty cool. I thought of making a tinkerbell custom with a fairy squad for my wife to play and tinkerbell would of had something similar to your fairy dust but I would have made it so that any figure you control that is adjacent to her gains flying when they start to move away.
Another question about him is his size. Fairies are very small creatures, and his figure, too me, would be bigger then his actual size compared to other figures. So, I would suggest making his hit zone look like a custom that badgermaniac made of Yellowjacket. and and use the same sizing too (tiny 1)
I have organized this thread a little better. Should be easier to look through and find customs I have made. This custom will be the first of many to come. Please take a moment to analyze the character, or even suggest new name, stats, abilities, ect....
