In which case it's kind of a pointless extra mechanic that feels really inelegant to me (no offense). I just think it goes against our design aesthetic to put in an extra line like that with no real gameplay effect that only exists for theme. MattHelms would probably call that a "roleplay" line or something of the like.

But it does seem to me, Tornado, that his species should be Clone.

I like the idea's of his specials having different range/attack values it might make for some interesting game play situations, and I could see how the different type of shot's would go farther do different amounts of damage as well as specific type's of damage.

Also I believe for his species a Clone of a Human is still a Human.

Clone is already a species though (as used for MODOK or Red Skull).

If you go with the idea about changing a figures class to criminal (ie. Dredd judged that person as such) so Dredd can reduce his defense by 1, then I would want to see him just pick one hero at the start of game to judge rather then judge a new person every single turn. It would not make any sense to me that he would deem someone a criminal one turn, attack but not kill him, then no longer think of him as a criminal next turn. Also it would pretty much mean every turn whoever you want to attack that turn is getting their defense reduced and that just starts to be too much.

What do you think about making his I am the Law power allow him to make 1 SA & 1 normal attack each round? Then he is not using two explosion or two ricochet attacks every round but he is still getting multiple attacks and can use the SA ammo.

I don't have any problem with the write-up as-is. He's going to be a real tough cookie no doubt, but I don't see how that's a problem. As long as his points stay in the low-200s we should be fine.

I'd go with "Unyielding" for the personality, off of Juggernaut. Seems like it fits.

The current write up looks mid to high 200's to me though. If you want him in the low 200's I think the current write up will need to be tweaked downward a bit. I guess we won't really know for sure until we test him but 2 SA of 4 per turn, with which you can effect 2+ figures per attack is pretty sick. In the early tests he was handling high point guys 1 on 1 (with a 5 attack SA) and his real strength comes from the fact that he can hurt multiple figures each round. All those SA attacks he used to take down Hawkgirl with could have also been killing off Hawkmen at the same time.

Personally, I'm against him changing a figure's class. I don't believe it's needed here.
