It has been a while since I've played Heroscape. Weekly game nights have turned toward other games but, with Wave 9 released, it was time to build again. Here are some photos of my latest map. I'm a little disappointed with it as I had intended to have more layer and depth to it. However, after building the castle, I wasn't much in the mood. However, it did give me an idea for a future map. Anyway here are some shots...
 As you can see, I varied the landscape with three different tile types. to slow things down, I used the snow down the middle.   Hopefully, a fight for the doors can take place here. First thru, can close the doors and take control of the area. However, there are ladders on the outside so that there is a chance to get up and try to take the area back.   The middle section of the castle has no ramparts on purpose. This gives easier access to moving pieces. We're on the right trail. Flies and the undead go together like bullets and guns.
