It's hard to explain with my bad english but I will try

1) Load and print this document : http://didier.paradis.free.fr/virtua...d/saisie3d.pdf
2) Make a base like in this sample : http://didier.paradis.free.fr/virtua...nload/test.jpg
The base must be white.
3) For each figure do step 4 to 6
4) Let the figure on the base. (the base must be on the printed page like in the sample)
5) Take a picture (we must see all the figure and all the printed page) with better resolution
6) rotate the printed page and base and figure of 1/16 lap. So you take 16 pictures.
Thats all.

Someone make this for me for wave one so I don't need picture of wave one. If you want do it, just do one figure and send me your result. I will said to you if this is ok because don't need to make a lot of wrong pictures.

I Hope that you understand

Sorry if this has already been asked, but are there any plans to include the Marvel Terrain into VirtualScape? I know Zzzzz already has a ton on his plate as it is, I was just wondering if there would be an update to include Marvel and Swamp terrain and the Wall & Hive objects in the near future.

Oh, and since I don't think I've ever formally said it: Thanks Zzzzz, YOU ROCK!

Hey Zzzzz,

I was wondering if you'd like to create a community repository for heroscape 3d models. I've begun adding models to the application I've been working on, and it seems silly to duplicate the work you've already done on the ROV models.

If we could have one place to store the models for comunity use, I could work on models that havn't been done before instead of redoing ones you've already done.

They should probably be in some common format that many modelling software can import, perhaps .3ds?

Let me know what you think of this idea.

P.S. I down loaded Strata Foto 3d 30 day trial. I'll experiment with it later this week when I have time.

How do you get pictures of maps you make onto this site? I can't find out how to copy the 3D image, maybe I'm just stupid, but please help!

Hit the print screen button for a screen shot, then go to paint, select what you want for your picture by curring the border out, save it to your hard drive, then upload the file.

There is also an option to save picture in VS that pops a .bmp of the 3d model. I then open that in Photosho or Gimp and save as a .jpg

Hi Sir flak,

sorry to answer only now but I was in an other country for my job.
Yes, this is a good idea. The using format is 3DS with a owned converting tool. I will doing something like that. This is in the todo list now.
I'm in holydayt until end of august so this will be done about at the end of this year.

thanks
Zzzzz

And with the release of the Marvelscape set, there are two new colors of tile, which you can whip out in a graphics editor to put in the Personal section of the configuration, Concrete and Asphalt:

The set contains three each seven-hex tiles in concrete and asphalt, seven concrete two-hex tiles, eight each asphalt and grass two-hex tiles, four one-hex concrete tiles, three one-hex asphalt tiles, and two one-hex grass tiles.

However, there's also one new tile shape, and a scenery constraint that goes with it. The 'breakthrough wall' piece sits on an irregular six-hex tile:

The wall scenery object has the same overall shape as the RotV ruin walls, except that it sits in a notch that runs down the centerline of the row of four hexes, then turns 90° and runs through the gap between the other two hexes, as indicated on the image above.

For those of you who don't want to wait, you can use the two top/side image pairs below for the swamp and swamp water tiles from SotM; I captured colors off of one of the box images for the shades to use, so they may not match exactly, but they're close:

Swamp:

Swamp Water:

I"ve only got 1.023 here at work (and our firewall filters the VS site as 'porn', so I can't get 1.025 ), where I got idle waiting for a report to run and decided to whip out these tile images, so I won't know until I get home and check whether 1.025 allows you to designate a personal tile as a 'water' (i.e., half-height) tile; the 'swamp water' tiles I defined in 1.023 display in the 3D window as full-height tiles. If it's not in 1.025, hopefully it's a minor addition.

From boardgamegeek, the SotM tile distribution is:
Code:
    1 7-hex rock tile
    1 3-hex rock tile
    1 2-hex rock tile
    1 1-hex rock tile
    5 7-hex sand tiles
    2 3-hex sand tiles
    1 2-hex sand tile
    1 1-hex sand tile
   34 1-hex swamp water tiles
    8 1-hex water tiles
    2 24-hex swamp tiles
   10 7-hex swamp tiles
    2 3-hex swamp tiles
    2 2-hex swamp tiles
    2 1-hex swamp tiles
    1 2-hex grass tile
    1 1-hex grass tile
That will give you the correct count and size of tiles to add.

Hi Srmalloy,

Can you give me some picture of the "breakthrough wall' and the size of this piece to create the 3D mesh of that ?
I will add this new master set on the last Virtualscape version.
Thanks for picture of the new tiles.
I will send to you the last beta version for that you verify if all the tiles are correct.
I will do that next week.

Thanks
Zzzzz
