Thursday's Update
I just heard from Rÿchean that Nwojedi won the Valkyrie General War this morning. He won a "Fortress of the Archkyrie, a t-shirt that matches his General, and squad of beautifully hand painted 4th Mass Line" and the custom title "Reigning GenCon Valkyrie General Champ."

This is funny cuz nwojedi called the winner himself with this post last week:

Friday's Update
I spoke to Rÿchean again today. He said that so far he has won two win-a-waves and went 4-0 in the Gen Con Indy Championship to be seeded #1 for tomorrow's finals. In the process of doing this, he beat yesterday's Valkyrie General War champ, Nwojedi

Interestingly, he also said a lot of people he doesn't even know (including Derrick Weston at the Hasbro booth!) have been recognizing him from his article on the front page here, and a group of people stood around him today just to watch him play his games. He said he feels like some sort of celebrity!

Grand Championship Tourney Results

The winner also was awarded a one-on-one game of HS with Craig VanNess (the HS game designer.) About 20 people watched this game. I heard it was close at the end, but Craig won, of course . lol. The game was videotaped with BuddyLee on play-by-play commentary.
