Talking Great goodwill find!
was at goodwill and spotted a marvel master set, well i picked it up and saw the 3.99 price and promtly bought it.
Got it home opened it up and found the only things missing were the figures, even the figures cards were in the box, just not the figs.

so it might be good time to check goodwill for used cheap heroscape.

I think anyone here would take that deal! You'd be lucky to only pay $4 for for just the water tiles these days.

what water tiles? This is ta marvel set...but I do think it was an amazing deal, especially since all the figures are unique. Unless this is your first Marvel set?

Also look at garage sales. My wife has had the following over the past two years:

-1st edition master set with all components and extra glyphs - $5
-1st edition master set missing two water tiles, otherwise complete - $10
- EOV master set with all components - $1

Keep your eyes open. The game has now been around long enough to see it in such places.

Good point! It hasn't worked for me though. I checked 80-100 garage sales last year for Heroscape and found nothing. I am still hopeful that this year will be different!

A while back, I found a castle set at a Value Village for about $5. It was missing a few battlement pieces but it was an awesome find!

My wife supports my Heroscape addiction. Of course, she has used her finds as lures to get me to go garage saling with her. I am not much into garage sales (she is) so she always says "What if there is some Heroscape and I am not certain if I should buy it? You should come along."
