I noticed the physical copy of the calender list's the Heroscape day going only until 6pm with something else scheduled 6pm - 8pm in the same room. This is not on the online calender though, but I thought I'd pass along the warning.

I will not be at this gameday on the 15th. I will be at Rustycon this weekend. If anyone else is going be at Rustycon, PM me a message if your up for any Heroscape.

I did receive a letter from Third Place Commons asking if we would make a donation again this year. I gave them $100 last year to keep the room.

I could make the donation again (or ask for people to chip in now that we have regulars showing up again). I was going to talk to the 'regulars' and figure out what people could afford.

Thanks to Nomad and Son of Nomad for bringing maps and trying out my 3-player 'Wellspring' scenario. It was very cool!

And thanks to CrazieCory for taking the bus ride up to LKP to get in some gaming-action and to show up some custom-painted Vamps

Hey Guys,
Wanted to send this reminder, and hopefully get some RSVP's, for a Feb 19th event.

Essentially it is a tournament event, where each player brings two 480-point armies. Each army has an 'Immortal' that leads the battle and the game ends when that Immortal is no longer on the battlefield. The tournament is double-elimination, so once you have lost both immortals - you are out.

I might tweak the rules a bit, but I think it would be a fun event.

Please let me know if you can attend. That will help me determine how many maps we'll need.

This event will likely be held at Lake Forest Park, as that is our normal third-Saturday of the month event (so February 19th) .. but if I need to build a lot of maps ~ I might just hold it at my place.

Also, I hope to post some extra details about the Immortals event this weekend. Not a lot of RSVP's for it, but that just makes it easier to be the last Immortal standing
