The Goofiest of Ideas
In a high point game do this. Apocalypse with the E-Ray Gun and some other good glyph. Have X-23, Wild Child, Marrow, Weapon X in some combination (or other X healers). Have a bunch of GCW. Use E-Ray on your own Horsemen and they now bond with GCW AND Apocalypse. The setup for this is ridiculous and your opponent might be on top of you before you can do anything but if it works HOLY COW.
Idea originally from dok. ~Dysole, who was in stitches over the idea My Twitch Channel where I play Scape and other things My YouTube Channel where the games get uploaded later Dysole's Draft Rankings Map Thread (Not responsible for psychic damage) Customs Battle Reports This sentence is seven words long. Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Gorilla City Warriors
They pair well with Solovar and Detective Chimp in particular, but struggle against anything that's highly resistant to normal attacks or that can effectively kite them. Solid, but not game breaking.
4/B C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Gorilla City Warriors
There’s a ton of solid Simian heroes, and this is a solid squad. It feels very much like Valhalla’Scape where you have a swarm bonding with a hero. Opponents with ranged multi attacks usually deal with the GCWs fairly easily, but lacking that can make it a difficult matchup.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Gorilla City Warriors
Simians are probably one of my favorite factions. GCW are a great squad, and paired with Solovar, the move and defense buff really helps them out. It's not too hard to get 3 attacks of 6 on a target with these dudes.
The only bad choice with these guys is Grodd II really, since he wants some specific classes around. |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Gorilla City Warriors
Really strong melee squad in C3G. Weakness has previously been ranged support as Gorilla-Man's machine gun wasn't anything too special. Has their new and improved ranged support piece been released yet? If not, they have something in the pipeline that is a pretty fun addition to the team.

Six-Gun Gorilla? He's released. I remember his special attack had to be toned down because it was too good with the Gorilla City Warriors. I imagine he's still pretty good with them though.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Zauriel
Zauriel is decent, but too counterdrafty to be a proper competitive pick.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Zauriel
Good crowd control with the special if you’re up against a low defense swarm, but this isn’t Valhallascape. Being a Champion helps but lots of better factional options for 10-20 points less.
He’d probably be more viable at 290 points. As is: 3/C C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

3/B- he's ok but suffers from not really having a real place factionally.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Zauriel
He got updated to champion recently right? I’m sure that helps him a bit. I’ve never considered him for a build though.
