Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
My daughters and I are watching season 1 of Iron Fist again, before we watch season 2 for the first time and before DD3 later in October.
Only a couple episodes in, but I'm liking IF. I think the first time watching it, I had a lot higher expectations. I was more expecting him to be more mature, but going into watching it again, I see him more as a guy trying to find his way. My wife and I watched Single Parents that she had recorded, and then watched the premier of Murphy Brown last night. We enjoyed it and my wife was cracking up, which only otherwise happens when watching The Goldbergs. Love The Goldbergs! It is the Wonder Years of my youth.
Did you know that the actress who plays Adam's first girlfriend Dana Caldwell, is the twin sister (Amy Acker's daughter on the show) on The Gifted? |

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Actually, I don't watch The Goldbergs. When the show first started, my wife and daughters started watching it while I was doing whatever in the basement. I'd hear my wife really laughing loud. I thought about watching it, but then decided against it because it's the only show that my wife and daughters watch together regularly. I watch all the Netflix superhero shows with them, as well as The Walking Dead, Into the Badlands and some others. My wife does watch Cloak and Dagger with us.
But anyway, I didn't want to butt in on their one show. Though I do see parts of it occasionally when I pass through the living room. Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
There have been some awesome episodes.
The one about the original Transformers movie when everyone dies was incredible. I know I felt pretty stunned myself when I watched it as a kid. My favorite is when they emulate the Beastie Boys as the Tasty Boys. The Beasties are my all time favorite group. There is one about the Grateful Dead as well. The Dead were my first concert. |

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
When it comes to comedy, I know everyone has there own tastes as to what they find funny. As and example, I don't find anything about Danny McBride's comedy routine funny at all, but I know he's pretty popular with some folks. Well, Norm McDonald is the comedian that I have long connected with on a comedic level. He just cracks me up, his style of humor resonates with me. He's had a decently long career so I know I'm not the only one, but he's also never broken out into the big time so I know his appeal is limited. If you are the type of person who likes Norm McDonald though, I started watching his Netflix talk show last night and liked it quite a bit so check it out if you need a few laughs.

The first episode of Big Bang Theory (now in its final season) and the first of the returned Murphy Brown. Both were good but not great, I thought.

My daughters and I continue to enjoy The Gifted. Neat how the they keep including some X-Men lore.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
My daughters and I finished watching Iron Fist season 2 and enjoyed it. It was certainly better than season 1. We are disappointed that it's been cancelled, as the direction it was going at the end looked very promising. Season 3 could have been the best one for sure.
We started watching season 2 of Daredevil, and got through the first 2 episodes. Very good. Hand of fate is moving and the finger points to you ...Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man TUTORIAL FOR RE-BASING FIGURES 3hrs 43mins 32secs = 1242nd of 8808 overall - 1988 Honolulu Marathon |

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Yeah, I've been very disappointed by the cancellations as well. I'm really hoping Disney revives them for their streaming service.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I'm disappointed that there are getting to be so many streaming services. Hard to justify paying for them at some point. I didn't get Netflix until DD1 was launched, and that was the only reason I got it. Still have it and have enjoyed a lot of shows in it besides the Marvel ones. So I'll likely pass on the Disney and DC services.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
That's my plan. Right now we have Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix, and there's way more content then we'll ever be able to watch. I'm not supporting another one.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
