Character Bio - The son of the original Green Arrow, Connor grew up in a monastery and hence is a very different character to his father. Placid and unruffled, he is charming in his simplicity and his naivety about the modern world. When his father dies, he filled in as Green Arrow for a time, serving on the JLA and forging a friendship with Green Lantern. He then retired back to the monastery, seeking to put his adventuring days behind him, but after his father's return from the dead he has been active once more, generally working alongside the elder hero.

• If you roll 18 or higher, the defending figure receives two additional wounds.

CLOSE COMBAT EXPERT
When attacking an opponent's adjacent figure with a normal attack, add one automatic skull to whatever is rolled. When defending against a normal attack from an adjacent figure, add one automatic shield to whatever is rolled.

Quick wording thing, someone can probably do even better than that, though, I'm sure.

I like the simplicity of the design, but like I brought up in Shadow Thief's thread, does this guy need a martial arts ability? Everyone has training, and though the ability is nifty, Green Arrow's main point (heh) is his arrows.

Maybe change then name to Point Black shot or something? That'd make more sense to me, but of course I didn't know there was more than one Green Arrow anyway.

And I think he'd be quite a bit less than 185, he seems weaker then the first GA, who was 150, or something like that.

Nice and simple! Some similarities to the first Green Arrow, without being exactly the same seems like a good idea to me.

Hand to hand combat (as the power name) sounds a bit bland to me, any way to spice it up a bit?

That's kind of why I think her card should say Oliver Queen, instead of Green Arrow. Not real important, but gross.

Maybe instead of making the hand to hand combat thing offensive, you could make it defensive? (Imho, much better for a low defense/life ranged attacker).

Maybe counterstrike? A little bland, but something similar?

Why not? ou've got to have some simplicity here and there, and, after Griff told me to do the human version, the two powers pretty much cover everything.

Yeah, I would argue along with Scapemage here that martial arts abilities are really just a hugely iconic part of this character and should be represented on the card. I also think the power mechanics are fine for this as is. I do agree the power name needs work, but haven't read anything I think is spot on yet.
I also agree that the theoryscaped cost is waaay too high. He's got 4 life, 4 defense, and no defensive abilities. I think he needs to come down to at least 155, and I could see it going lower, which I'm cool with because I think he's not quite his father's equal.
He does have some nasty offensive potential, though.
