FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET
Instead of attacking with Superman, you may move him 4 additional spaces. If you do, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

MORE POWERFUL THAN A LOCOMOTIVE
When Superman attacks an adjacent figure with his normal attack, all blanks rolled count as extra skulls. When he rolls defense against a normal attack, all blanks rolled count as extra shields.

LEAP TALL BUILDINGS IN A SINGLE BOUND
Before moving normally, you may choose to subtract 4 from Superman's Move number. If you do, at any point before, during, or after moving, Superman may move up to 4 spaces with Leap. When moving with Leap, Superman has the Flying special power, but may not move up or down more than 80 levels in a single leap, and will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

I really like what you have for this design, very thematic.

For Leap Tall Buildings, it seems a little weird that he leaps and then runs 4 spaces (followed by another 4 spaces after attacking). I'd prefer to see it trigger after his move, like this:

LEAP TALL BUILDINGS IN A SINGLE BOUND
Immediately after moving normally, if Superman moved 4 or less spaces this turn, Superman may Leap. His Leap has a move of 4. When counting spaces for Superman's Super Leap movement, ignore elevations. Superman may leap over water without stopping, leap over figures without becoming engaged, and leap over obstacles such as ruins. Superman may not leap more than 80 levels up or down in a single leap. If Superman is engaged when he starts to leap, he will take any leaving engagement attacks.

I agree with Viegon in that it would seem more like a Superman leap if he kind of moved first. He'd still get to move 4 spaces after the leap if he attacks, so he'd still get some distance covered.

Otherwise, he'd be able to leap 4 spaces over onto a road or castle walk, move 7 spaces (reduced move of 4+3 for road), attack someone, and then move 4 more spaces.

Plus, the timing can be confusing where someone might wonder if after choosing to reduce move to 4, do you move at that point and then leap? Or leap and then move with your reduced rate?

I like that it's not "instead of moving normally", so he can be moved by other figures like MM and still Leap. I think the way Viegon wrote it, it would be clearer that he can move and then Leap as part of normal movement and get to do it via MM.

Edit: But then again, Leap, move, attack, move would be Super fun too, and keep your opponent on their toes as not knowing where the heck he's going to end up

I actually meant to make it so he could do it at any point during his move, thus it should have been:

I can't take all the credit. Bats came up with the initial design. We just tweaked it and I'm running it.

Cool.

So now for example, he can reduce his move to 4, move 2 normally then leap 4 and then finish with last 2 of initial movement. Then he can attack and move 4 up to 4 spaces.

Or leap 4, move 4, attack and move up to 4

Or move 4, leap 4, attack and move up to 4.

Etc.

Lots of flexibility.

This version is pretty cool. He doesn't have to worry about protecting others or use fancy special ranged attacks. He can just go and beat the snot out of bad guys.

Thanks, guys! I'm cool with the Leap being at any point in his movement.

Since he doesn't have range or flying, I'm fine with him moving 12 spaces every turn as well.
