Hi, Drave.

WalMarts in the area have the two most recent booster assortments available.

It's a bit of a drive from Bremerton but Olympic Cards and Comics in Olympia/Lacey has the best selection of HeroScape in stock. You can get both Master Sets there as well as the recent large box expansions and boosters. I think they carry some other stuff as well.

Olympic Cards and Comics is just a fantastic store with friendly and informative staff and is probably the largest game shop in the state. They carry every game you can think of (Minis, Euro, AT, expansions, "non-gamer games") and more, and are seldom out of stock on anything. Their new location is just fantastic- huge, clean, and well lit. I can't give them enough praise. (Well, their website sucks and is not representative of the store at all.)
(360) 459-7721

For a closer jaunt you can try The Games Matrix on South Tacoma Way. They carry a small selection of Scape but it's been awhile since I've been a customer so YMMV. Call for availability (253) 583-9708.

You'd probably be better off just driving the extra 25 minutes down I-5 to OCC for a much better shopping experience.

Fred Meyer, if you have any near you, are good.

In the Seattle area, Gary's Games & Hobbies has HS in stock.

Re: where to buy in WA, USA?

Here's my Gary's Games story.

I'm browsing with my friend WK. The "employee" of this small shop was quite busy with work, which means sitting at a table and chatting with his friend about some rubbish. I was under the impression that his friend had been visiting for quite a while.

The phone rings.

Employee Slacknuts: "HeroClix? What? Oh, HeroScape? No, we don't carry that here. You should try Fred Meyer".

Me: (calling out nearby from the boardgames): "Hey! You guys carry HeroScape!"

Employee Slacknuts: "Ok, bye" (hangs up and goes back to chitchatting).

Apparently he didn't hear me or felt stupid and ignored me. I didn't press the subject. But I did point out to my comrade that directly in front of Slacknuts, not more than 10 feet from where he was sitting and in a STRAIGHT DIRECT LINE OF SIGHT on the wall is a box that says HEROSCAPE: FORTRESS OF THE ARCHKYRIE. Let's not forget to mention all the other Scape they had on the shelf. I hadn't been to the store in 5 years and was only in the place for 20 minutes and I knew more about their inventory than this idiot kid. He didn't even bother to go check.

I was really pissed off at this. The store can't possibly make that much cash and they just got deprived a sale. Not only that but someone could have got some Scape and spread the hobby! I almost called back later and complained to the manager/owner but I didn't.

I left Gary's with a bad taste in my mouth and for those that ever get down south, go to Olympic Cards and Comics where they know what time it is and give a crap.

Re: where to buy in WA, USA?

Sorry to mildly resurrect this thread, but I just saw Hex Sinister's comment, and I had to reply. I just want to say that whenever I've been there the staff have been friendly and helpful. I even had an email conversation with one of them about Heroscape about a month ago. I think that the employee you got was just a bad egg, so to speak.

Well you know it only takes one bad experience to turn away a customer. If you do a lot of business there and have good experiences then that's a good thing. Most of my friends shop there but I have other options down south. But that's good of you to speak up for them. I wasn't bashing the store, just that stupid employee - I really wanted them to make that HeroScape sale! But yeah, my last comment probably sounded a little harsh.

Still, Olympic Cards and Comics is way betterer
