I definitely dig 6 Life, 8 Defense, 6 Attack for him. He'll hit on just superhuman levels but it'll take him a while to wear down the real champions, while he'll be able to last a while with them but probably not quite prevail. That feels like Thing to me. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Yeah, this feels pretty reasonable in terms of durability level to me. Still dig the write-up.

Alright, it's been 24 hours so lets see how the design plays in testing. Feedback on what price range/point you want to see him tested at would be welcome.
I propose The Thing II for initial play testing. YK - yea LP - yea Japes - yea Johnny - yea Bats - yea Arch - yea SG-1 - yea Last edited by Yodaking; February 19th, 2020 at 10:20 PM. |

Re: The Book of The Thing (Ben Grimm) (II)
I'm willing to hold audible judgement until after testing so
YEA Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of The Thing (Ben Grimm) (II)
I'm fine with anything in the 320-370 range, was thinking he'd be closer to 320/330 though. What's the calculator put out. I generally feel it's fairly consistently a bit higher than where we often end up, but it really helps to get us started on testing.

I can try to check later if Karat doesn’t beat me (phone posting at the moment).

Re: The Book of The Thing (Ben Grimm) (II)
350 seems like a good starting point based on playing with the calculator. Using his stats but 7 life since One More Hand means he should always be able to take at least one extra wound puts his base stats and SS at 265 points. I went 3 and 4 for the other two powers and threw in a 1 for One More Hand and the fact that you'll often save more than one wound. The total from that was 350.

Re: The Book of The Thing (Ben Grimm) (II)
Sounds good. I like doing a scale on the team tests when 1 on 1 tests are not viable. So I'll run a 330, 340, & 350 match and see how he feels.
