Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
Yeah that sounds about right. That’s some pretty extreme value for an OM. Full turn with Cyclops, move with Mutant 1, attack with Mutant 1, attack with Mutant 2. Plus the other options are hardly bad choices with Cyclops either.
Consider me worried. I already think Cy II is a pretty undervalued character, and one I personally chose to stop using in testing just because of how much he steamrolled. Seems potentially problematic to add something that pairs this well with him. |

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
Not to mention the complexity creep that'd create for a single turn has my head spinning. There has to be a way to cut off letting those powers overlap.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
Good point. I more had things like Martian Manhunter (I) in mind with this. Like I said, I want it to synergize well with Gilad without being overly specific to him. Would an Order Marker requirement on that one help cut him out or is that not a solution?
EDIT: Or some sort of a "no additional turns" clause? Might help any other Cyclops-like or other bonding weirdness. |

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
Yeah the Unit-Y power needs some safeguards installed. Quick question, is it important for her to work with Squads and Event Heroes and stuff? If we can pair her down to just Unique Heroes that will help a lot.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
The only one you could argue is Harada for her to work with, but given its a leadership and he's her sensei essentially, definitely doesn't need to. So Unique Heroes only is 100% fine thematically.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
That first bullet still hurts my head and seems like it could lead to some crazy levels of turn complexity. I'm pretty sure the third bullet still stacks with Cyclops.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
I think that would be tough to do within our current framework - since enemy figures, as a rule, won't be moving on your turn. It would be fairly niche, albeit a good counter to the Flashes and such of the world.
Crazy idea is give Gilad the Tenacity power off of Rocket Raccoon and let one of the pips offer Disengage and free movement. But I'm not sure we really want to reopen Gilad at this point. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Yeah, probably shouldn't open Gilad up. Ninjak already having disengage and Gilad basically giving it makes that not super-duper appealing, though it could be helpful for a Secret Weapons team (trying to build her with both teams in mind). Would throwing disengage on pip three be workable, or do we think its already at a good spot? |

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
I mean, ultimately, if it helps the faction and you as the LD think it is the right move, I'd support it, especially since he's not even released yet.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
I think for pip 3 I would go with either "move two figures with disengage" or "move three figures, no disengage." No strong preference without seeing how it feels on the board.
I'd have to see the lockdown power written out, but I'm not against it on principle. It would definitely help Aric play nicely with her, locking down units for his multi-attack and forcing opponents to trigger Righteous Rage. So its5 enticing if we want one "pip" for each of the boys. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!
